    A really good poker room???

Anyone know of a really good poker room? Where I won't see 4 of a kind time after time and like 5 royal flushs in about 6 hours of playing time? Please let me know if anyone plays at some real poker rooms. Love poker but don't like seeing 4 of a kind after 4 of a kind and Royal flush after Royal flush lol Must be Rigged...

have you tried Pokerstars? (a.k.a. riverstars )

I found that site to have better players which equates to fewer suck-outs.

Actually, I no longer play at pokerstars as I think the competition is weaker at other sites. I'm willing to put up with more horrible beats because I also know there will be a lot of very easy chips.

I often play at Hollywood Poker. They have several tourneys each week with a bunch of "movie stars" (Ken Howard was at my table a few days ago) that are good fun.

I only play tournaments and sit n goes so I can't offer advice for finding cash games.

I personally play at Hollywood Poker, Doyles Room, River Belle Poker, The Gaming Club Poker, Poker.com, The Poker Room, Mermaid Poker, Poker Ocean, Noble Poker, Island Poker, Poker Stars, and some more.
Royal Card Room I play at sometimes.
I have alot of poker rooms that I play at.
Absolute Poker is another one that I play at.
And Honestly, I have only gotten 2 4 of a kinds. 5555 at Doyles Room and last night I got 8888 at The Poker Room. Got really lucky as 3 people went all in and I called.... Made about 75 bucks on that hand!

    Poker sites

Pokerstars... thats the place my friend

Their software is very very good.

I recommend you microgaming poker sites... Microgaming's Random number Generator is real good. I have not seen too many frustrading hands with them, however the software itself is not nice.

However customer service for me is what I mostly look for. Check the following poker sites which guarantee nice CS.

    Absoutepoker
    igotpoker.com
poker770.com (playtech, very nice, however I don't trust much poker sites from playtech)

    peace

    pokerstars review

i took my own advice and deposited at Pokerstars for the first time in over a year. i played there a lot when I began learning poker a year ago, but I only played fixed limit back then.

While there were still quite a few calling stations and players that won't lay down a hand to any bet while on a draw, it wasn't nearly as crazy as Prima in that regard.

I was surprized pleasantly that their turbo sit n go tourneys were not nearly as fast as turbos elsewhere. I think the blinds go up every 5 minutes in the Pokerstars turbos. This at least allows for some skill in the early going though these still tend to morph invariably into all-in or fold 45 minutes into the action. I did see A LOT of fish limping into hands with KK and AA though, and most of the time they got worked for that shite.

Perhaps I might have to include myself among the fish as I was playing $6.50 sit n goes and nearly burned through my $50 last night before finally winning one to get my balance back to $30. I win steadily at Hollywood but mostly playing omaha8. Unfortunately Pokerstars offers turbo PL omaha sit n goes. IMHO the turbo format is absolutely ridiculous for PL omaha so I won't partake in that mockery. (unless I have a good buzz going of course)

I've always done well with Party. The main characters in the company are pretty creepy, from what I've heard, but the poker, two casinos, and bingo have all treated me well. I always seem to gravitate back to them when I need a poker fix.

Edit: With poker.com recently picking up the slack on that WSOP fiasco, I'd say that's the one I'm looking at next.

Same here. Party is my home port due to the huge number of fis.. i mean players. Also their monthly reloads are very attractive.

I am also signing up at poker.com for what they did to help those guys that were about to get screwed out of their WSOP packages. Very classy of them to do that.

how ironic that after I make a post that there are fewer suckouts at pokerstars i run into and endless string of them and bust out my wee $50 deposit.

so i returned home to hollywood poker and have continued to win there.....(knock on wood)

maybe just variance but I've gone on a nice streak at the somewhat silly turbo sit n goes. perhaps I've adjusted to that format and it's paying dividends or perhaps just variance.....i like to think it's the former.

my buddy is hosting a $1000 freeroll Friday night at Cake Poker so I'll report back on that one, but it looks like Cake may have arrived too late for the party.

    Party Poker?????
    Yuck....
Party Poker was the first site that I made a 100 deposit.
Sat and played 7 1/2 hours one night....During that entire time, I got only 4 monster hands and no matter what I bet, I kept being called by fish chasing straights and making them on the river.

I don't have hand histories. The reason being, I make a deposit and have no intentions on withdrawing....That's my playing money so I can enjoy some games.

But I'll never play there again.

I enjoy Hollywood, and the other sites that I play at, which is around 28 of them.
I just opened an account with Full Tilt, so I'll see how that goes.
