There are 100 people registered. This seems quite a lot. Does anybody check that they are all genuine Casinomeister members?

I was thinking the exact same thing GrandMaster. I don't think there are 100 people who post here on a daily basis. I guess CM forum member just means if they have made one post, that's sufficient?

Well, I'm out, lol. I finished in 46th place, I guess not that bad for a first outing. Pisser is that the first three hands that were dealt me, I didn't have a clue where the buttons were for call, check, etc. So it ended up folding on me, and I had some pretty decent cards. It was fun though, and definitely something different.

I am looking at the current chip leader markbarr. There is a markbarr here, registered 2 hours before the tournament. Clyde1967 also at the final table, registered on 9 february, hankanator on the 10th, bkdixon on the 11th. I think there should be a better qualification than merely being a member.

Anyway, I finished 13th. I am normally pretty good at staying out of hands I have no business to be in, and I did well when I had good cards. Four times people went all in against me with silly hands. I was as high as 5th place out 20 or so, with over 6000 chips, then the next time someone went all in pre-flop when I had a QKs, he had a pair of aces and beat me. I never recoverd from that. My computer crashed less than a minute before the end of the first 5 minute break, which cost me 300 chips before I could rejoin.

I registered on the forum, purely for entry into the poker tournament.

Have also spent the last hour reading posts (after being kicked out at 28th place) and can honestly say casinomeister have gained another fan of these forums - so much interesting stuff !!!

A freeroll is beneficial to members of casinomeister, but also beneficial for casinomeister to gain more members.

Finished 28th by the way.

See, that just isn't right. It seems pretty obvious that the only reason they signed up at the forum here is to play in the freeroll. I agree with you Grandmaster.

I wouldn't have been one of those people who went all in against you with a "silly" hand was I? I hope not, told ya I'm not the best poker player. I don't think I went all in on any hand prior to the flop though.

lol Sounds kinda suspicious to me.

I wouldn't doubt if there's an announcement over on bonuswhores. The word gets around amongst them folk. "Free money" or a good promo, those guys are ON IT in a flash.
