Email From Nedplay Casino....Unreal

I get this email from Nedplay casino. Here is the title:

"100% bonus up to 1000 exclusively at nedplaycasino"

So I open the email and this is what they say about the bonus:

Deposit at Nedplay casino during the promotion period. Every deposit will be matched with a minimal bonus of 15% and at sometimes the match bonus will be 100%. These times are random and cannot be altered. If you're lucky you can collect this amazing bonus!

Well, I got one too, and at the bottom it says I am receiving the email because I have registered with Nedplay.

I NEVER DID, NOT EVER!!!!

There is NO WAY they could LEGITIMATELY have my email address. It looks like Nedplay have "bought" a list of email addresses, possibly even a "players' list" from another casino, and are using it to effectively spam.

It is NOT an affiliate, they are coming from one of the big bulk mailing companies casinos use to send out promotional mailers.

Clearly, Nedplay needs to be investigated. Did some of the people behind it once run, or work for, a casino group I am registered at? Did they buy player lists from a casino group that went bust? Did they buy lists from one of the many suppliers of "newsletters" that are nothing more than spam?

Unlike normal promotional mailers, no account number is quoted (would be hard since I don't have one), but this IS it seems a LEGITIMATE promotion, rather than something invented by a spammer, as might be expected for a headline of "100% to £1000".

My apologies for the unclear text about the bonus in this email. This was caused by a mix up in text as a result of a human error.

The bonus is 100% for the first deposit up to 150 credits in players currency,
75% for the second deposit up to 300 credits in players currency,
75% for the third deposit up to 450 credits in players currency and
an extra no deposit bonus of 100 credits in players currency if all deposits are made within 30 days after the first deposit and a minimum of 100 credits in players currency have to be deposited per instance.

The promotion we are currently offering for existing, depositing players is a match bonus ranging from 15%-100% match.
This bonus is competitive for existing players, even if you only receive 15% bonus.
The bonus has been set to offer a bonus from 15%-100% were the bonus differs every time a deposit is made.
The idea of a fluctuating bonus or mystery bonus appeals to some players and some players don't like it.

We try to be innovative with our bonus offers and the settings are fair. Players that deposit can hit the 100% bonus.

I would like to apologize to those who are offended by this line in the email regarding the 15%-100% bonus.

In any other regulated market you could face a fine for misleading marketing like this. But as we all know, Casino's do whatever they want and try every trick in the book..
