Reporting spam FL spam to FL abuse team has no effect.

I reported some spam direct to the FL "abuse" desk - but they %&&$£ IGNORED ME!!!!! (apart from an auto reply).


Today, I received yet another "newsletter" - I cannot unsubscribe, since this is NOT OFFERED!

Fortune Lounge - READ MY EFFING ABUSE REPORT and DEAL WITH THIS ^%$£" AFFILIATE BY LOCKING HIS ACCOUNT.

This is EXACTLY what got FL into the rogue pit some while ago, and their program is yet again ignoring email account holders who are reporting spam.

I am ABSOLUTELY DELUGED with this spam (not just FL), and it is the responsibilty of the BUSINESS PAYING THE SPAMMERS to take action, as well as mine to report it.

c-f-1.com are FAKING THE SENDER ADDRESS to make it appear as "Fortune Lounge"

I have reported this to Fortune Lounge through their dedicated abuse reporting channel.

THEY HAVE DONE F*** ALL

THEY HAVE NOT EVEN BEEN CIVIL ENOUGH TO REPLY.

Fortune Lounge were dumped into the rogue pit for failing to deal with spam before, it is time this current wave of spam and no action from FL was weighed up against the severity of the previous incident.

I have nowhere to go, spamhaus do NOT accept spam reports themselves, so with Fortune Lounge REFUSING to deal with it through their own abuse reporting channels, how can anyone so much as register protest, let alone get something done about it.

This is the ONLY way as far as I can see, rant in public on a forum to FORCE FL to sit up & pay attention, and see what is being done in their name.

There needs to be a body like spamhaus, but where WE can report ineffective abuse reporting systems so that these organisations themselves can be blacklisted for failing to deal with spam reports properly.

No good, as I miss all my LEGITIMATE casino promotions, so would be forced to read the spam anyway

The problem is made worse because c-f-1.com is involved, and so many ACCREDITED casinos continue to do business with this spammer's haven that it is impossible to block c-f-1.com spam without blocking many other promos.

There ARE consequences though, when CM dumped FL into the pit for failing to address spam they suddenly woke up to the problem, and ran a purge on offending affiliates. Since then, they have dropped the ball, and flown under Bryan's radar because this has been a slow increase in spam, not a sudden jump. Worst of all is the fact that their abuse reporting system is fake. I DID receive a ticket number for my spam report, so they DID get it, but CHOSE not to do anything further about it.
