    Nevada Becomes First State to Legalize Online Poker

    Around 3pm PT history was made at the Nevada Gaming Control Board in Las Vegas. In a 4-0 vote, the Nevada Gaming Control Board adopted internet gaming regulations. These regulations legalize online poker in the State of Nevada. These regulations also allow for licensed online poker operators in the state to offer interstate online poker should the federal government give its approval............

    So will it include licensing off shore companies or only those that operate in the U.S. (meaning they move their operation to u.s.

    Not much help for slot players.

    888 has applied for a license, they are offshore. IGT has applied too and they own Entraction, a European online poker room. The only requirement appears to be that an active company operation must be in Nevada. Also yes, this will not apply to any game besides poker.

    My guess is that companies that have violated US law by providing gambling to US citizens will not be allowed to participate in legalized gambling here in the USA. We might just be better off, but time will tell. I would love to have Microgaming back.

    After all,POKER is real fun and thrill but hey,guys,you are talking here as legal poker will become a treasure...which is not.
