Police Detective, Firefighters Among 15 Arrested in NYC Gambling Ring Crackdown

I think I am going to be ill...What is this world coming to? This is plastered all over the news...and the take...you guessed it...a whopping $2000 a game...The resources it took to bust up this penny ante game is truly mindboggling!! Does the government/law enforcement have nothing better to do with themselves, spending millions on busting up these home games?? I hope each and every one of these righteous politicians that have voted and signed any bill relating to a grown ups past time making it a crime finds roaches in all their hundred dollar meals they go to and spend our tax dollars making these idiodic laws...

Now now hon... don't you know everyone that gambles (outside a casino that pays taxes to the state) is supporting white slavery and drug cartels and terrorism and gun runners and heaven only knows what... just ask the feds... It seems that, these days, playing poker is a crime.

The Cat: Oh, you can't help that. We're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad.
