One of the unfortunate things about the iPhone and iPad is that Apple won't allow gambling apps in their app store. No one wants to pay to develop an app that can only be used on a jailbroken iPhone; so, as a developer, I'm focusing on the Android platform now... but yeah. The future of this kind of gaming looks very bright; it will look a lot brighter if Apple ever decides to allow Flash on iOS (because then you won't have to go to the app store to play the games).

No one's yet built an HTML5-based casino product, but I can see that happening in the next 6-12 months (hint =)

I was actually going to start a thread similr to this! Won't now though! lol

I was wondering if you can use your favourite casinos on your iPad? Downloaded or flash or both?

    That would be awesome!

    Cheers

Jstrike answered my question just as I was asking it!

I don't have an iPad but was looking at tablet pc's. I think android looks like a better system anyway!

    Hi jstrike,

Apple are now allowing white listed operators to promote their Gambling Apps in the App Store. 32Red recently lauched the first ever real-money Blackjack App to be approved by Apple:

    http://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/black...399584308?mt=8

It wasn't an easy process and I think (or hope!, lol) that it will be difficult for the majority of other casinos to gain approval. The fact that 32Red are a Plc listed on the London Stock Exchange no doubt made the process easier.

Our new Tomb Raider Slot App is currently going through Apple's approval process, if successful we hope to have this live in the next few weeks.

    Cheers
    Mark

Can you download the whole Viper suite for a tablet running android or an iPad?
Not sure how these things work?

Would be awesome to have your favourite casino software there to play.
Long bus trip, car trip, etc... With a 3G tablet pc you could play any time, anywhere!

The way it came across in your post was that you'd have to download each game you wanted to play individually?

    Cheers

    Mobile Roulette experiances

I can recommend Ladylucks that uses Probability gaming software. Testing out Mfortune currently (not sure if they are reputable) as they have low stake roulette like Ladyluck. Compared to Microgaming Spin3 and Playtech that have higher min bets starting from £1.

Mfortune doesn't impress me much as the wheel spins in a complete blur, whereas Ladylucks doesn't show a spinning wheel, it has the ball bouncing above and along the numbers that are arranged in a straight line (looks more like piano keys) though it suits its purpose for the small phone screen and good fun.
