EGamingReview - Top 50 Power Affiliates

Interesting article at EGamingReview regarding affiliates, and the power they can carry in the industry. The part about the WH acquisition of the 70,000 strong affiliate database, and how that played into the pricetag of 144 million Euros (when acquiring Playtech's CPays group), is especially telling IMO.

I found it interesting simply for the fact of what I was saying in one of the Gambling Wages threads...how important these super or mega affiliates are to an affiliate program, and thus the casino itself. Again, all about marketing, and zero to do with players.

The first link is to the main article itself. The second link is to the top Casino affiliates. Monday was top Bingo affiliates, today was top Casino affiliates...tomorrow and Thursday are Poker and Sportsbetting affiliates, respectively. Links to each of the "top" lists are at the bottom of the main article.

If you notice, both Casinomeister, and Games and Casino (Dominique's site) made the list for casinos. Thank God neither one of them advertises GW, lol...now I just gotta work on CasinoBonusGuy.

I posted this in hopes that maybe some posters here will understand why we are so hard on affiliates that promote rogues such as the Virtual Group. They have ALOT of influence within the industry, and by sheer volume alone, account for many new player signups.

My goal is to be on that list in another two years at the latest, knocking down 150k per month as CasinoBonusGuy does or even more as I'm sure some of the others above on the list do!

Hopefully, Rob... you won't list & promote ROGUES like the "Top Listed" AskGamblers.com does.

    Askgamblers.com

Serbian Igor Salindrija is a relative newcomer to the industry, having been in the gambling affiliate space for only around three-and-a-half years, but is becoming increasingly influential.
Ironically... "Igor" has a "Casino Complaints" forum... where "surprise-surprise"... many of the complaints are about GAMBLING WAGES shit-hole casinos... which Igor promotes...

From what I've seen & read from you RobWin.. you are on the right path as a webmaster... and I give you a BIG for your stance against the shit-holes like Gambling Wages/Virtual.

Thanks Track, I really appreciate that my friend, and for sure you can count on the fact that whether I ever get to that list and those big bucks or not, it will most certainly not be from promoting the likes of the Virtual Group...

Not to derail Pina's thread here but have you seen the latest...

Thanks Rob, for bringing this to everyone's attention and even more importantly, thank you for being who you are, not afraid to rock the boat and having the gonads to speak up for what you think is right! Also......I'd like to give a thumbs up to KK for his participation in that thread over there.

Shit is shit.......they can cover it up with honey and butter, but it's still shit and it still smells.

Just an update here. Affiliate Guard Dog are updating their terms. Programs of casinos which are listed as rogue here on CasinoMeister will not be featured on AGD.

Thanks to Andy and team for resolving very quickly.

Not that anyone needs reminding. But the people behind Affiliate Guard Dog are good guys.
