There are still a lot of hurt feelings all over the place regarding this mess, mine included. A lot of people were hurt, others saw their work go down the toilet and none deserved what happened to them.

Everyone reacts differently in such situations, so let's all give each other space to vent what needs to be vented so we can all move on together, instead of fragmented.

No worries girl, no harm done! This topic is a touchy one. I remember someone here at CM saying it was going to have effects on us for a long time to come. Isn't that the truth. I just hope that you know I would not ever think of you that way. Or the rest of the mods at the time.

Of course you can yell at me but only if I deserve it.

Back to the regularly scheduled program..

I'm glad you are in charge of that sort of thing now Dom. Especially for newbies.

Unfortunatly the bannings and editing were very relevant at CAP too. While there was indeed one individual who was the bad cop, it was general business practice at CAP. As seen from the hundreds of posts here:

Older affs go out, new affs come in. I think that's what they're banking on. Newbies.

Dominique. I just pulled this out of the hat. I posted that my avatar was changed by CAP to a convict.

I forgot that this person sent me this.

Poop this! That's just gross! Changed this members avatar and goodness knows how many posts. Endorsed by CAP on their quest for multi-million dollar paychecks! The threads at cap are COMPROMISED.

    Check it out. LOL

Mojo... yours is mild compared to mine. Here is what they changed mine to. It was the ultimate humiliation but I had to save a copy.

How does one continue to have faith in an entity that stole from affiliates and programs? Taking dollars from every single one of us? CAP needs to CLOSE. I personally will not allow newbies to think it's "OK". Every time a thread comes up, I will BE HERE.

Now you can yell at me.

I don't yell at affiliates or players. I have done plenty of yelling, both online and in person, in private and in public (anyone remember the old beer sessions in Amsterdam conferences?) at shoddy programs and casinos, but yelling at peers never made any sense to me.

I believe in choosing my battles, and I never chose this battle, and I don't consider myself part of it.

Yes, it hurts to see this thread go south, digging up the things I have worked so hard to eradicate over the past year. But, I suppose you still need to vent. Really, I do too, and I have been biting my tongue for a very long time now, but I will continue to do so.

If I started venting and publicizing my take on everything (and I got a closer look than anyone here and have quite a different take on what really happened) all hell would break lose again. And I just don't think that would be for the better for all. I could write a book on this - and maybe I will do just that in a few years.

But for now, there are other, much more important battles about current issues we face, and I have chosen to move on and concentrate on those.

All I can say to your post is that people's avatars are and remain their own choices at CAP now. I am sorry this happened to you. I was attacked in public by the same person and I understand how you feel.

I can't imagine you yelling Dom. How you kept your cool through all of this I'll never know. I admit I couldn't although I havn't yelled in person since my kids were younger. Online I consider it 'strong opinion'.

I've vented already so will keep it to a minimum. It's impossible for me not to speak up when so many were hurt. I'll leave it at that.

On another note, a book is a great idea. I would be interested in the history from the beginning of this biz.

Someone could write a book on forums alone. Title "Gambling Forums - Tales from the Keyboard" LOL
