    Post Harrah's/Caesars Casino Live Online

It looks as though what I have been saying for the past couple of years now about Harrah's going live online is starting to come to fruition as you can see in the pic below.

This is the new Caesars Online Casino website for their new online casino. Their website currently re-directs back to their hotel casino site, but not for too much longer! We can hope as US players.

EDIT: I should have added the fact that players from the USA will be re-directed to their hotel site as others can in fact access the casino now!

Article coming on my website later tonight...stay tuned and check in there for the latest news on this...

I just pulled this info from another website and it looks like no US or Germany can access there casino so looks like the meister is screwed then.

    .................................................. .................................................. ...

For those online casino players who long waited for the contribution from Harrah’s Entertainment, the time has come. They are finally introducing Caesar’s Palace Casino online.

Dragonfish casino software-powered Caeser’s Palace Casino provides an extensive range of games including Baccarat, Three Card Poker, Craps, Roulette, Caribbean Poker, and Blackjack. The most popular gaming brand has contributed to the new casino an appearance and atmosphere of ancient Rome, along with the theme of its Vegas land-based Casino.

For a limited time new players at Caesars Palace Casino are able to receive a massive ?500 matched bonus on their initial deposit, and there are more promotions and bonus offers following the welcome bonus. Their VIP program is also one of the features that players can take advantage of.

Because of the legal restraints at the moment, players from the US or Germany are not accepted to access Caesar’s online casino.

There's a report on this 'soft launch' on the latest Casinomeister News.

Dragonfish/888 have advised that for people in 'restricted' markets the new site will simply redirect to the main Harrah's website (a 'playing it safe' legal move I guess).

The site is owned by Harrah's Interactive, the new subsidiary of the famous group that has been created to handle online ventures headed by ex-Party Gaming chief Mitch Garber and based in Montreal.

There was initially some confusion due to the wording on the launch but that has since been cleared up and the title of the online operation confirmed as Caesars Casino Online.

I believe this to be an exciting development, especially if you live in Europe and can access the site; it's nice to see one of the US giants back online after the demise years ago of tentative Internet ventures like MGS Mirage's brief sally into the sector.

Great report Jetset, I too have also published a Full Review HERE , also outlining the restricted countries and several other aspects of this new launch.

I agree and also any of the USA players that want to access the site just to browse around can do so by use of a proxy browser such as TOR or JAP/JonDos

I signed up a test account and played here last week it's purely for UK customers right now. It's 888 in Caesars branding, although it does have the Cleopatra slot (not sure if 888 does) on licence from Wagerworks/IGT.

Other than that the only games that resemble games you find in Vegas are table games.

Theres pros and cons to this deal. Among the pros are that a B&M is not only coming online, but also that it recognises the need to work with someone who knows the space well. Love 'em or hate 'em, 888 have plenty of experience and the joint-enterprise makes good sense for both land-based and online industries.

The main cons IMO are the lack of games that are recognisable from the floors of B&M's - a licensing deal with IGT/Wagerworks might mean more IGT slots in time though. The other con is cashouts. Are customers used to playing in B&M's really going to want to wait 72 hours (48 of that spent in reverse) for a cashout?

    Cheers

When heard Caesars was online I panicked thinking they were accepting U.S players. I dove into research drive chugged a few pots of coffee then it hit me. They are not accepting U.S players. Needless to say I will be having my eyes tested this week might explain the headaches I been having lately lol.

Anyway this is exciting news a small step in the right direction. If I understand correctly Caeser’s Palace Casino is only accepting players from the U.K. a regulated market to some extent.

So if and when the U.S regulates Online Gambling they will be ready to jump in. This might explain why so many countries are restricted access. A smart move IMO if this is the case.

For affiliates who have difficulties accessing the site there are plenty of methods as RobWin suggested.

    TOR or JAP/JonDos
    Good stuff!

I cant access the site from here in Australia.

You know, it just doesnt make sense why certain providers ban Aussie players even if they do have some kind of connection to interests over here, as from my reading of the applicable Act it is very specific about what constitutes 'providing an online gambling service' etc etc. It is also interesting to note that no charges under the Act have been laid since its enactment in 2001.

I mean, Dogboy is in Sydney and has design connections with RTG, and yet RTG will allow Australians. Weird.

Anyway, I guess its one less place to lose my shirt
