There is also the tendency for 888 to LIE when they find themselves in a bit of bother. They LIED about Reef Club having any connection to the main brand, yet upon leaving the site the players were treated to a "try our sister casino, Reef Club" exit pop-up. Then there was the "Lucky Ace" farce, more lies from Cassava, this time in an attempt to justify their actions.
There are STILL complaints coming in from players deemed to have "too many accounts across the Cassava brand". Said players might try this new casino, and find themselves unknowingly yet AGAIN with Cassava.
Note the misleading press release, mentioning "Dragonfish software", when they know full well that this is NOT going to be a name familiar with players, whereas say "Cassava", or "888", and almost every player will recognise it.
As for the restricted countries. I expect Harrahs are being extra cautious, since what they are REALLY after is a legalised US market. Testing their product elsewhere will allow them to iron out any problems, enabling them to "hit the ground running" the first day the US allows online casinos to operate. They do NOT want to risk falling foul of ANY other countries' laws, even those where the laws are considered to be indistinct. The UK benefits from a law that specifically makes online gambling legal, rather than a lack of a direct law making it illegal, which is what many countries have at present.
