I'm not sure about Budapest either yet.
If I can make it into the ASOP then I'll almost certainly go... but that's a very big IF!

Not going to Copenhagen as we are away on holiday!

Just a side note - CAP has nothing to do with it anymore.

I would love to go but am staying home this time for personal reasons - had to turn down an offer to speak at Copenhagen too, although I have a lot to say...

I would really like to be at that meeting to hear what you have to say on that subject Bryan but obviously since I am the poorest affiliate for 2009

(is there an award for that title?) I cannot make it of course...

Is there any way possible I could get you to send me a video disk or a transcript of your speech that you are going to give so I could read or listen to what the Meister has to say? It would be much appreciated...

Yeah, whatever...then the conference previously known as CAP Euro

Seriously, it's another bad decision to place a conference a week before another major event. How in the hell are small operators/businesses (like CM) supposed to cover both? It's not like Budapest is right around the corner from Danemark.

There are a number of reasons why I'm not going; that's only one of them. I've got stuff going on at home anyway...

They usually upload the power point presentations after the conference. I'll send you a copy of it when it's finished.

I'm looking at the following - they all seem fairly central to Tivoli Gardens, Nyhavn etc but it's some time since I was last in this city:

Imperial
Scandic Copenhagen
Copenhagen Strand
Grand
Norlandia Mercur
Best Western Richmond
Phoenix

If you get a good one let me know please! I will be there to cheer you on during your speech

BTW Budapest isn't that far I managed to get a really short cheap flight. Most Operators I speak with are not unhappy about the closeness of the events at all from what I hear most never go to or planned to go to EiG anyway.

I believe a good central point to stay is in the vicinity of the Tivoli Gardens, and there are a raft of 3 and 4 star hotels in that area judging by the Booking.com website.

The Imperial, Grand, Scandic Copenhagen, Astoria and many others are close together from what I can see.

OK Dom so are you saying that 100% for sure that CAP nor any of its previous owners benefit financially from the conferences organized by Alex?

Just been wondering about this but nobody seems to know for sure.
