Cant not register my card! Help

It has been an hour since I bought the card. It will not register. When I call,
they say wait a half hour after purchase and call back. It has been an hour.
There is no access to a live person there at all. Now what do I do?

I am wondering if this card is one that has been messed with now.

    this is All access. Thanks

It's quite possible that the dipshit at the store where you bought the card (I assume it's a gift card) didn't actually ACTIVATE it. I ran into this before, and ended up having to return to the store to get a new card and have it activated. Some cashiers that don't know WTF they are doing simply ring the card up and think that the transaction is over. There's 2 parts to it, and they need to also activate it through a machine of theirs.

It should be no means take more than an hour.

Check the receipts that they gave you. There should be one for the purchase of the card and another one (much smaller) saying that it has been activated and should also list a reference code.

In all, don't blame the cashier, blame the lazy ass managers of the store. I'm appalled at the lack of training that these cashiers get. When I was getting a new card activated in the above situation, I had asked them how long they had worked there, and it had been for quite some time....and the store had offered these and other gift cards for awhile, so there's NO reason that they should have not been told how to properly activate these cards...
Operators: If you don't know what Transparency means, then here you go.....now how about practicing it?

Transparency, as used in the humanities and in a social context more generally, implies openness, communication, and accountability. It is a metaphorical extension of the meaning a "transparent" object is one that can be seen through. ...

    Similar trouble here.

I tried to test out UKash, and looked on their site for places I could buy it. Of around a DOZEN shown, I was able to get a UKash voucher at only ONE store, and I had to show him how to do it

It seems they launched UKash, which was available at certain terminals, but store staff had no idea their terminals were capable of anything more than topping up cellphones, or paying bills if you were too poor to have a bank account.

I offered a tutorial to another store, so now there are two, but I have given up on the option, as it is suitable only for small time players.

It's great for addicts though, because by the time they have managed to get some UKash, they will be too knackered to gamble

As an aside - UKash is designed primarily for those without access to bank accounts, so how do casinos pay withdrawals from UKash deposits?

    By CHEQUE of course

    Back to port for unloading.
