Jod, I'd do exactly as they say...............Join the Fight! Use APWC to report APWC's spam you have received from APWC.............IF YOU GET the normal runaround re "you agreed to receive promotional emails when you subscribed," then I would close the account at APWC and tell them no thanks! Sorry J Todd, but this whole scenario smacks of using this forum to further your cause and that sucks!

@jod - I'm trying to understand how this is defined as spam. How was this received? Where you emailed without opting in to receive ads or newsletters? I'm just trying to have this clarified.

Bryan,

Forgive me, I misspoke I guess. I signed up with APCW when I first found out about them, my intent was to keep abreast of the USA situation, I have done my part to fight this problem with the USA and on line gambling. I have never received anything from them other than updates and the link to the J. Todd video updates. I was quite taken aback to get this e-mail from them, the first I have ever received in my inbox like this. It is what I consider unsolicited spam.

As far as I know, I did not and certainly would not ask for this kind of thing from the APCW. I guess I need to end my membership there if this is the kind of thing they will be sending me. I am interested in solving the on line casino problem in the USA, not playing Bingo or anything else through The APCW link.

I find it hard to understand why I should be receiving this, just like I get spam from others promoting casinos. It is not what I understood them to be all about.

Sorry for the problem, Bryan.

I wouldn't consider this spam. Spam is an issue about consent, not content. If you had signed up at APWC and given your consent on receiving emails, then that's what you did.

Even at Casinomeister, we have a weekly newsletter and yes sometimes we send out special promotions. We have to pay the bills.

If you want a service, you're either going to have to pay for it directly, or patronize its sponsors. Not much is free - and when it is, you'll usually get what you pay for. J.Todd needs to pay the bills just like we do.
