The FBI proclaims online gambling is illegal.

Apparently from their website,

http://www.fbi.gov/page2/june07/gambling060607.htm

Online gambling is illegal. Someone should teach the people at the FBI how to read their own laws.

Ummm.... except for betting on horse races. And, and uh... maybe fantasy football (players can win money and prizes I think?).... and uh.... most state lotteries allow players to buy their tickets within their state online. Excuse me Mr or Ms. Leslie Bryant ... but exactly where (in all that legal mumbo jumbo of whereases and wherefores) do those laws tell me :

"It is illegal for any and all U.S. citizens to gamble on slots, video poker, keno, bingo, and card games on the internet." ??

OH REALLY? I haven't heard one FBI arrest of a US citizen because of playing blackjack, slots, keno, and other non-sportsbetting games online. If they like to start, then there's a certain guy I know here they may be interested in.

yup, it gets kinda scary when the police start enforcing their "opinions" instead of the actual Law.

Ain't that the truth - and evading a test on that opinion in a court of law just makes it even more so.

That is quite amazing. If the FBI don't know their own laws, what chance has anyone got? Or is it scaremongering perhaps?

Definitely, I reckon - they're masters at scaring the bejasus out of their targets without having to contest issues in court.

Indian gaming sites! Than all online casino's should claim to be part Navahoe, etc! (JK) I thinks it's absurd!
