Hey Guys,
I just found a online casino script named GamingCenter from JackPotSoft.com when browsing the startcasino message boards. Do you think i should better use the ready script from jackpotsoft or a boss media application when starting my own online casino? I have a budget of about $20.000 to start-off (including website marketing etc.)

$20,000 is not enough to start an online casino. How do you expect to pay winners?
That, IMO, is why there are so many shady outfits out there... startups with less than $1,000,000 are ridiculous and will only end up in the rogue section at CM.

Unless you have several million dollars in the bank (with at least two in reserve), I would seriously discourage you from trying a start-up operation.
Reasons: 1. Too competitive. You will never get players unless you plan on purchasing someone's database. Even then, nothing is guaranteed. 2. You won't be able to pay some of your bigger winners promptly. Speak with some of the newer operators. They'll tell you that you will operate in the red for several months before seeing a profit. 3. $20,000 is enough dough to purchase a casino that will just piss everyone off. And like kwblue implied, you'll be rogue-ified in a New York minute -- and that's no fun. ![]() My suggestion would be to look into a white label operation. Which is like being a superaffiliate. You'll have the same marketing problems, but your payments and customer support are taken care of.

I actually already own the bodog.com database, so marketing should not be a problem any more,,
If i wanted to start-off with the jackpotsoft.com application which actually does not look that bad and is pretty cheap (500 bucks) and keep the rest of the money for payouts, would that be ok? I really dont have a bigger budget now, but also dont want to be an affiliate of another casino, that sucks ^^,, you can take a look at the casino application i am thinking about purchasing @ demo.jackpotsoft.com, I could use this one first and switch to boss media as soon as i got some profit. THX

Don't even get me started...
(I've been very good today, and haven't even let fly with any of my stomping, snorting rants -- but if I keep seeing posts like this, I'm going to start screaming...)
