The only thing I can see is that on the 18th neteller cut us US residents off and my bank didn't pay them. I have no bank statement as I don't get one till the end of the month. I went into my neteller account and it shows the $30 as accepted by casino but declined as payment. Am I obligated to pay this? It was neteller who dropped me. Please advise on this. If you say I am obligated to pay it then I will. Just didn't appreciate them telling me that I was referred to " NETELLER Account Retention for further action" when I knew nothing of this. What should I do? Thanks....

Yes you are obligated to pay them if your bank has not already.

If you really owe $30, you should pay. I would send them a personal check and if they don't like it, tell them to sue you.

Indeed, you should reply that due to the unusally high volume of transactions, checks take 6-8 weeks to process.

    I wouldn't pay them yet...

I'd wait and see what their intentions are. They are holding thousands of dollars in a so called trust and money is also being held from the 16th. before the announcement. I'd say if a backlog was really the problem that player withdraws on the 16th would have cleared by now or should clear Monday or Tuesday of this week at the latest. Here's what I'm thinking...

    1. They will file Bankruptcy
    2. The US Federal Reserve will not allow them to send eft's to the US
    3. They have lost their eft processor and can't get another one to touch them
    4. All this is just a way to hold some cash, collect interest and everyone will get paid someday
    5. They want to get placed on Casinomeisters Evil Ones list!

    I hope its #4

I think I'd have to request identification and a copy of a utility bill before I issued any payment to them.

    Shame

Well, Neteller screwed alot of players by the unnanounced withdrawal of service leading to trapped money; seems that some US banks saw this coming and pulled the plug on Neteller a couple of days earlier. Naturally, they did not tell Neteller!
In this case, the money is owed to Neteller as the casino deposit was paid, however, it is up to Neteller to accept the money in whatever form it comes. Laughably, the player is asked to phone in to request the money be taken from the bank account registered with Neteller, why not do this, after all, this is what was supposed to happen. Ask Neteller to E-mail you if they have problems doing this. It is almost impossible to get through at present, even for non-US customers; and since Neteller is of no further use, having the account locked for owing $30 is of no consequence.
Players who find themselves in this situation, and who can verify it was caused by their bank blocking the transaction should admit to Neteller that the money is owed, but point out that it is now illegal to send funds directly to Neteller while it is seen as an online gambling only processor.
Depending on when the banks did this, Neteller may have a large number of sums owing that are just coming to light as they attempt to clear them through the banking system. This can only add to the workload.
