One would hope that other injured parties, such as Britain and the countries whose banks have been ordered to disclose client information, would join Antigua's complaint.

I believe there are a number of countries that can actually join in on this issue, but the question is, is it really worthwhile for them peeving the US for this?

The US government is really down playing the FACT that they lost the last appeal to the WTO.

The US now has a short time frame to comply with the WTO ruling, I do believe the US has already used up all of its appeals under the WTO rules.

So what if the US does not comply within the time frame?

What is Antigua going to do... Start a trade war (or any other kind of war) with the US... I don't think so...

    However,
under the WTO treaty that the US willing signed and sponsored... Antigua and the other petitioners have the right to set aside international copyright laws and intellectual property rights as far as the USA is concerned.

What does this mean? It means that Antigua and the other countries involved will LEGALLY become the largest bootleg market in the world (even bigger than the illegal bootleg market in China) for American software, movies, music, games, books etc. owned by any American company or individual.

I should also point out that it is being reported that the Port Security Act Signed by the degenerate bush boy in October of last year has been set to be 'Reviewed' by Congress. If there is going to be a review so soon after being signed, it is going to be all about complying with the WTO Decision.

I have a feeling if they change anything it would be to drop the carve outs for lotteries and horse racing. I don't see it going the other way. At least not so soon.

I don't think they will drop the online horse racing for the east coast would go down in flames and that includes Washington DC and Richmond (where our govenment rules from) which are 2 places that were brought up on raising thoroughbreds and horse racing. Too much "old money" pulling strings to have that removed.

No way they are dropping any of the carve outs.

As silcnlayc pointed out Horse Racing is for the blue bloods and no politico with a single brain cell is going to touch it.

BINGO is protected by the Natives and their treaties with the federal government. Of course, the US Federal Government does not seem to care much about keeping treaties these days.... so maybe... but I really doubt it.

The State lotteries fund the State's general fund (schools and roads), most states that have the lottery totally depend on the income from the lottery to fund their state budgets. The States would never allow the feds to outlaw one of their main sources of income.
