NFL allegedly responsible for Gambling Bill going through ?

This is a paper in my homestate, that just came out with this assertion. Paul Tagliabue used to be paid mega-bucks to be the commissioner of the NFL, by the way. Could it be that one of my favorite sports is what screwed me out of my Affiliate business ?????
