    $5 Million Playtech Slot-Opinions?

    Hi all.

I saw an article yesterday about a new $5 million maximum payout slot. It turns out that you can only win $5 million if you play 20 lines at $100 per line (i.e. $2000 per spin) .

How many of you are gonna be hitting this one with a credit card and the autoplay controls?

It's one thing to make sure your high-rollers are taken care of , but seriously...trying to make PR waves with a machine like that? How many John Daly's are playing online anyway?

I think we need more and better options for the low-rollers, whether it's Crypto's random jackpots or some of the poker provider's micro-limit games to 'train and groom' players for the long-term.

Is it just some marketing manager pushing to throw the biggest number they can around (i.e. better than the Millionaires Club jackpot of around $4.5 million ), or is it something else?

    (excerpt from article below)

September 15 - <casino name removed> online casino has announced the launch of the biggest non progressive online slot machine game to date. The all new Take5Million slot game takes video slots play to an all new level...
The casino has introduced a completely unique new video slot - Take$5Million. Are you ready to win a massive $5 million? Well, you had better be prepared to bet $2000 per spin! Whilst the top prize will be out of reach for most players….

2,000 pennies maybe. lol. I agree with you 100%! How many of us online hobos can actually ever play such a machine? And how many clients might this casino have... 2?

I got this email too. It's for one of the CPays casinos. Although, as was discussed in another thread, these crappy places sure do seem to attract the high rollers for some reason.

If a high roller stumbled across this casino, played the $2000/spin and won $5 million they would probably never get paid and neither would their children or grandchildren.

$5000 on a $2 bet is a pretty darn good jackpot... Most video slot's jackpots are well below 2500x bet... the only one I can think of with a jackpot that high is Cashville

    Playtech

    Advertising by Numbers...

Probably not too much customers will be playing 20 lines $100 each but is just nice to have on your slot machine the chance to win $5m.

Regarding Cryptologic´s jackpot...it has dissapointed me.

They advertise $4 million !!! wooo!! but..

When was the last time this jack pot was hit????

At least Gold Rally´s jack pot from Playtech has been hit several time in the last years, not for that amount, but at least it has paid.

Still waiting to see when a happy Crypto customer is going to become a millionaire

Betting 2000$ total and hitting 5 scatters during the free spins in 'Isis' would give you 7.2M$. And this is probably more likely to happen.

Besides from the 5 scatters you would win 1M$ to 5M$ for just hitting 5 high pay symbols (not 9TJQKA symbols) during the free spins as well if you play 20 lines with bet 100$ on each line.

Imagine winning $5 million at some clip joint like African Palace, which will promise to pay you $3000/month and not even pay that.

I think the last MC jackpot went about 10 months ago for nearly $2 million.

It's not unusual for big jackpots to take months, if not years to hit. The $10 million jackpot in Atlantic City last year had waited several years to be won. All of the Crypto licensees that have the game are likely to be hoping that it hits, but they just have to wait like everyone else.
