    Skill Games at WOL

Interesting new content developments over at the other site:

    SKILL GAMES FOR WINNERONLINE

    Exciting new content

Portal Winneronline.com, a subsidiary of turnkey provider Cryptologic has launched skill games content at its winneronline.skilljam.com site in partnership with provider Skilljam.

WinnerOnline Cash Games offer nearly 100 games, including favorites like Bejeweled2, PoolJam, Zuma, Solitaire and Collapse. The games are backed by fully contactable 24/7 Support on a professional and aesthetically appealing new website.

The portal is energetically promoting the new facilities, and players around the world are invited to select games and compete for fun, cash or prizes. There are plenty of free “practice” tournaments as well as fee-based cash prize tournaments on offer.

Players who want to play for cash (skill games are regarded as legal in the USA) can fund their accounts through Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Paypal.

The features-rich site includes a community service for members with facilities such as special tournaments, leader boards and forums to increase communication between players and build up a community spirit among the thousands of players who are expected to sign up. Safety precautions include fully encrypted security, fair gaming measures and a sophisticated 'fraudulent gaming' activity detection system.

    Thumbs up Nice new touches...

    Wow! I never thought I'd anything about Skilljam.com .

Actually, I've made deposits there, over a few years, going back to mid-'02. There've been a couple of updates, and most notably another one recently. I think that newer lay-out is 200% better than the older version.

I used to play JamTris (Tetris) there quite often, as well as PoolJam, the 1st version of "Bejeweled", and of course, "Bejeweled" II (although the new is more aethetically pleasing, the old one is more fun). Actually, I still play these games because you can do so for free. I've won a few tournaments over the years. Not a bad operation, and the games are fairly good.

Unfortunately they don't offer NeTeller, but I had some money that was idle in my ancient PayPal account (useless for online gaming for some time now), so I played with some actual credit again in '05.

Skill games are nice. I offer them too and I play them myself.

All kinds of fun games to play. I am sure this will be good for WOL.

Those skill games are getting more and more every month... speccially in countrys like germany where it is also illegal to play in onlinecasinos or running one... there are new websites opened with skillgames regularly... It doesn't make really sense, because you bet money like in a usual online casino... Sometimes you win, sometimes you loose... The only difference are the games....

anyway, skillgames are fun to play somtimes, but really don't get me to play a lot...

It will be quite interesting to see what for games are become available in the next years... I guess we even can't imagine...

Actually it's not illegal to play from Germany, it's just not legal. In other words, you can play from here, but if you run into a problem (for instance you get ripped off) - the law will not protect you.

I had a very bad experience with a skill site once, so be careful who you play with.

I made what was at the time a considerable sum of money to me at worldwinner.com playing Minesweeper (around $250...I was a starving grad student at the time). Then they e-mailed me accusing my of using a bot, blocked my account, took my money, and refused to reconsider their position.

If anyone has any ideas how I could possibly get my money back, I'd love to hear them. IMO this makes them just as bad as Sterling House, Black Widow, and all of the other rogue casinos.

"Skill games" are treated differently in the UK to "games of chance" when it comes to regulation. Wonder if this covers online skill games.
