Wow that was such a great win. I wouldn't even begin to know what to do with myself.

How do you get away with filming in the casinos? I'd be afraid of having my camera/phone confiscated.

    I enjoy your vids.

When in doubt, just ask. Since everyone can record with their mobiles, it shouldn't be a problem. I was worried about the same thing years ago at the Luxor, so I just asked one of the floor managers. They said not a prob.

    Video and Photos in Casino

    Hi Jasminebed:

I can understand why you are asking this question. Ontario, Canada has some of the most "out of date" rules when it comes to video or photos in a casino.

As far as I know, it is not "illegal" to take a picture or videos in a casino. In most casinos, it is against the rules. Why?

    - If they have tables, video devices can be used for cheating.
    - They don't want you taking photos or video of other guests inside the casino.
    - They don't want you taking photos or video of the casino security system

All of these are legitimate concerns. However, if you are pointing your camera only at the screen, to capture your win ... then I don't think there should be a problem with it. Of course, casinos can't trust all players to follow the rules, so they disallow it.

What happens if you get caught?
Taking an innocent picture or video is not a crime. Most security just lets you know it is against the rules, and that's it. Occassionally, they will ask you to delete the picture or video. I've had a few that have insisted on me deleting more than one video ... and twice, I was asked to check my camera at the "coat check". The casino can not take your property. They can not delete the video. If you are only taking a picture of your hard-earned win, no worries. Once you are told the rules, you should stop. Oh, and I don't count the "cleaner" or the "cocktail waitress" as being told. They are not security. They think they are helping ... and most of the misinformation comes from them (re: they will take your camera). You don't see security servicing drinks, right?

    Best camera to use?
Lots of people use cell phones or small video cameras. I like using a regular digital camera in video mode. The quality of the recording is decent ... and the lense allows you to get the full screen in, while sitting close to the screen.

    Should I hide the camera?
Some hide their cameras, but I just hold it right out in the open. I'm not trying to sneak around. You can see security and other see you do it out in the open, and they just look the other way.

If you want to film in Ontario, try Niagara Falls ... I've had better luck there recently ... they don't seem as strict ... and they are pretty cool about it. There is competition there, and they don't want to lose the players across the border. Detroit is the same ... MGM Grand has been really cool ... Motor City is pretty good. Seneca Niagara is pretty good too -- it all depends on the individual security guard.

    Hope that information helps.

    Hi Casinomeister:

I only had one casino, Cosmopolitan stop me from taking a video ... but I was already on video # 20 there. I just moved on to the next casino. Treasure Island, M Resort, Sams Town and Eastside Cannery have never said anything about video. I wish casinos in other areas were up with the times!

No problem Freddy ... glad you liked it. She has a lot of other really good wins on her channel as well ... but few wins will beat this one. The only thing more perfect would have been a WILD on the 1st reel (which is possible) -- but highly unlikely with the 10x multipler!
