Dolphin Coast - Am I missing something ???

This isn't really a complaint, yet...
Just been wondering, if anyone else have noticed, in Dolphin Coast, when you hit the dolphin feature, where you have to pick a dolphin, and it's supposed to pay X2 X3 or X4, it does in fact pay X2, but if you hit X3 it pays X2 and if you hit X4, it pays X3 ?
I've noticed this many many times, and did ask support, but thy wanted spin number and what have we, and I really didn't feel like going through my gameplay, to find a screenie.
I may have misunderstood something, but from what I can see, any win you get, should be multiplied by 2, 3 or 4 respectively, so that for example a $5 win, if you hit the X2 it should pay (and pays) $10, if you hit X3 it should pay $15 (I've seen it pay $10 many times) and if you hit X4 it should pay $20, (I've seen it pay $15).... right ??
Anyone have an opinion on this ??

AFAIK not all wins on the screen are multiplied......only those containing that wild symbol I.e. it is not a total win multiplier.

it only multiplies the wins where the dolphin logo is a substitute.

I thought about that too, but it's 3125 WAYS, not lines....So it really does go in in any win, except 2 scatters, doesn't it ?

ok, I think I see how it could avoid paying for all wins now.....say you get turtles, 1 on reel 1 on reel 2 and one on reel 3, + the dolphin feature, you'll have a win of 3 turtles, besides the one that the dolphin feature covers. Gotcha.

Ways = lines in a sense.

You can have 5 K's across the screen, and also a dolphin wild in the middle. The 5OAK pays twice - once including the wild, and once without. Only one of them will be multiplied.

Did you read the game rules?

I have just woke up and it is 0545 in the morning here (yes, I am an early bird) so still a bit tired. But I thought this was about Dolphin Reef- the great Nextgen Gaming game that used to be a favorite of mine. After re-reading OPs post, I see it is about Dolphin Coast
