i really think , that we players should info of such events and harrasments , from sporting books and casinos , that like to make wrong actions , in delicate matters as payouts .

somebody pays with an ok credit card or ewallet , send the casino the printscreen of the ewallet ,
and they still have the rudness , or terrible unsesitivity if you want , to ask second utillity bills , second and third id , and notary documents . is it not better to play at places that do not harras us ?

You may also regard me as insensitive but that's only your part of the story with few relevant details.

When we question a casino's action it is best to first examine whether the establishment in question is a reputable outfit. Havent played there for years but they are not known for stalling payments and even less for harassing customers as in your case. My wild guess is that they believe something is wrong thus the request for more details.

If they are continually asking for more information on top of docs you have sent to them you are entitled to seek an explanation fromthem as to why they arent requesting the docs in one go rather than asking in bits and pieces. It would help if you could post the live chat or excerpts of the relevant emails. Until then, I personally feel its a one-sided story.

2. Intercasino would not be asking for docs unless they were very suspicious.

Although many OC's don't require the notarization of documents a few have started. It should be posted within the T & C's to be fair if this is going to be a normal request, so far I've not seen this mentioned, could be wrong though cause I haven't read everyone's T & C's.

Most T & C's do advise that doc's must be sent upon request, very clear.

Nifty might be correct in saying that maybe they suspect fraud but it could be as simple as wanting to verify the player further before making a payout. No wrong with that.

I'm sure the player was checked out during registration through internal checks but let's face it, a hard doc. check is the best way to confirm a players identify. ID scan, utility bill scan, etc..

Also the licensing authorities requires the ID verification process to take place, periodically, therefore intercasino isn't out of line.

I don't see this process as harassment but ensuring minors aren't gambling online, fraud , money laundering isn't taking place. As you pointed out in another thread, someone wanting to launder would deposit and then make an immediate withdraw. They would in fact deposit, play some down and then eventually withdraw to launder money. And not caring if they lost part of the deposit to move their funds through the banking system.

I understand that doc. requests are a pain, notarized doc's an additional burden but one of the biggest plagues allowing this industry to prosper and move forward are the three mentioned above.

Notarizing a document ensures the OC that some minor didn't take mom or dads DL, utility bill and present it to the OC.

A minor isn't going to be able to get things notarized so just added security IMO.

The main problem is that most players don't get asked for "notarised" anything in their normal life, so a request like this from a casino can be the first time they have had to find out what notarisation as a process is, let alone how to go about it. Poor advice from casino CS on the matter doesn't help either, as they may say something like "the police will do it" but when they actually go to the police they are told to go away because the police in fact DON'T do this. This then leaves them with the impression they just got screwed over by the casino, and start to believe they have been set an impossible task because the casino had no intention of paying them in the first place. They then believe that every further action or advice is designed to place further obstacles in the path of getting paid. This impression can be fuelled further when casinos ask for specific documents, and then keep coming back again and again for others, rather than asking for everything they want in one go. The fiasco that sometimes surrounds the process of sending documents and getting them verified doesn't help matters (yes we got them, no we didn't, send them again, too bright, too dark, lost them, etc.....).

Will casinos pay the extra costs involved in getting notarized copys? It's really expensive in my country. One or maybe two places to do it with so they can charge what they want.

A recent thread involved another casino asking for notarized docs, and in the end they accepted a "certified" copy, which was much easier and cheaper to get in Australia.

Another alternative that could be suggested would be a photo of the player holding their ID, docs, etc. This was once asked of me, and it's pretty easy to have a friend take a picture of you.

Sometimes certain countries or deposit/withdrawal methods are more closely scrutinized than others, doesn't mean everyone from these countries are fraudsters.

I don't see "not being active on forums" as a reason for someone not to post their own complaint.

If intercasino is asking for notarized docs there must be a very good reason. So, tell your "friend" to provide the docs and I'm sure, if they are legit, they will be paid. It is certainly not a form of "harassment"....although it might be a real PITA if the player involved is trying to pull a fast one.

I believe there has been a lot of fraud originating from Israel, so that may be a factor.

His friend is from Israel, and is posting here on his behalf. The player is "not active on forums", so must therefore be a "real life" friend of the OP rather than an "internet friend". This makes it highly probable, if not certain, that they live close to each other, thus it is reasonable to conclude that both are from Israel.

Some casinos will pay the fees involved if the player turns out to be legit in order to keep them playing. Fraudsters will NOT get their fees paid. This will happen after the player has paid up front to the notary, and had the documents verified by the casino.

Casinos don't seem to understand this process themselves, and use the term "notarised" rather loosely. Often it turns out that "certified" is good enough. This is indicated from some of the advice given to players such as "the police/bank/doctor will do it", making it pretty clear they are actually talking about "certified" by a "person of good standing in the community", rather than "notarised by a notary public/solicitor etc".

The easiest way to "certify" a document is to have a photo taken of the player holding it, such that their face and the document are both in the same picture, and the photo on the document is clear enough to compare with the face of the player holding it, and the text clear enough to confirm that it is the same document as the one initially scanned and sent in.
