...Even though I believe a casino has a responsibility to deal with problem gamblers; I believe that too many problem gamblers try and blame the casino for their inability to self control!

Why should the casino be to blame for you having no self control?

Not to be presumptuous but thought a referral to this section of CM may be of use to you? (Link Below)

Gremmy, I think that was a bit rude of you, just saying. Although I believe there is some responsibility on the player, at the same time there was no need to post the quit gambling link.

I don`t have any sympathy with the OP in this case. Look at his 4-5 last started threads

I didn't intend to be rude.

It seemed obvious to me that the OP has a gambling problem.

Apologies for my forthrightness. I had altruistic intentions.

I sometimes forget that in text form you don't see the intimations that you would if speaking to someone face to face.

seriously with all do respect a / all good casino's will flush or lock your with drawl

the thing about a problem gambler ?/ it seam s as though o p is a regular type
air Breathing punter , like a cigarette smoker , or a drinker of fine wine

knows what the casino knows = that the house edge prevails and the temptation to play down his win is a real /as a next breath thing to a punter

The problem is all casinos tempt even responsible gamblers.

What gives a lot of us cravings to gamble now and again? popups on websites? tv ads? spam emails?

I know for me I have had weeks without wanting to gamble. Then some crafty spam email came through with a new offer which made me want to try.

Some of the time I have reversed out of greed but others the casino has actually tempted me. I remember 21grand often would give a player a free chip the moment they hit withdrawl. Chances are this could bring the player to wanting to gamble more and thus lose their withdraw.
