) ....however, he told her that the processor had cancelled many many checks and he was on the phone all this afternoon to reach the customers personally and re-issue their checks or pay through other means. He told her she would have her withdrawal by tomorrow. He was very respectful, and very aggrieved that this had happened.
I do believe they'll hold true to their word and pay her. At least now she is reading a book and has come in from shooting at driftwood and the occassional bream.
