    newbie pains

    Hi all,
I am new to all this online gambling, so please, dont laff too loudly @ me, LOL Ive been playing at about 4 casinos online, with little to no problems, and last weekend thought I would look and see what other casinos had for games. I downloaded one, that is an accredited one on this site. Now, They had a "bonus" of 25 spins, if your first deposit was $50 i was told ( later read in the terms & cond it was $20) anyway, ok so I deposit $50, but before i was credited the spins, the connections was lost. So, i reload, and go back to the live help. I get someone new, and tell them what happened....can you please hold..so i hold , lalalalalalala, he finally comes back and says he is transferring me to someone else, Trevor his name is, " hi Trevor I was talking to Sarah earlier and we lost connection, blah blah "explain it all to him..he says can you hold please....lalalalalalalalalaaaaaaaaa 10 minutes later....Im sorry, we dont have a Sarah, but we do have a Sara.......seriously? lol ur gonna be THAT pissy are you? ok, I will play, ok SARA then.....please hold.....ok, at this point theres over 30 minutes of my life im not gonna get back.......lalalalalaaaaa SARA arrives......speaking SPANISH.....at this point I disconnect. I decide I do not want to play at this casino. I go back to live support, and get the same dippy do I got right after SARA. I tell him I have changed my mind and WHY and I want my money back. can you hold please......omg, LOL ok, so I hold, for a VERY long time, he comes back says my account is locked and in 24-48 hours everything would be reversed and it would be as if nothing had happened. So, heres me think ok in 48 hours my money will be back....NOT the case apparently, cuz on monday evening, well past the 48 hours i contact them and say hello, can I have my money back please? I was told 24-48 hours...the guy gets pissy with me, says I wasnt told it would be 24-48 hours, I was told it would be PROCESSED in 24-48, I said well to me when someone says IT WILL BE AS IF IT NEVER HAPPENED that I will have my money back in 24-48 hours. I explained to him how unimpressed i was and he didnt seem to care, nor did anyone else. I called the 1-800 number and you just get disconnected. It is now Thursday, and I STILL do not have my money back. Am I being unreasonable? I mean if it takes seconds for them to take it, why does it take a week to get it back?? Am I being unreasonable? thanks for the advice in advance :-)

Unfortunately for the most part it does always take longer to get money out of a casino than it takes to put it in -whether it's a withdrawal or a refund makes no difference.

I'd do like Jazzy mentioned in the intro thread, contact the rep if there is one and ask them about it:

I don't know what to tell you about your problem, it is a bit different than most gamblers' issues. I just wanted to say to you that if you break your posts up into paragraphs it is so much easier to read and understand.

And, like Chayton told you, take Jazzy's advice in your intro thread.

    Hello

I can understand the delay if you used a credit card to deposit with? When you use a credit card, then the amount is "reserved" 2-4 days or something in your bank account, before its finally posted.

If the casino cancels the deposit, it will often take some days before the deposit comes back to your account. And the reserved amount will not be posted.

If you used a credit card, then the casino has no opportunity to speed up this process.

Have to agree, if you used a credit card, id does take at least 5 business days to get a pending charge removed or to get a refund to the card.

Chayton was speaking of the "newbie" thread you started. Jasminebed, or Jazzy gave you some good info in that thread.

    YAYYYYYY!!

A BIG thank you to everyone, you all are so wonderful, I really appreciate all the advice and help, what a wonderful community!

I was contacted by Wayne, at Spin Palace Casino, and what a fantastic guy he is!! He addressed all my issues and was wonderful, which impressed me so much I may just give them a try after all! As we looked at it all, it was a comedy of errors on both sides, and I have no problem admitting when I make a mistake, and of course that doesnt help things either, anyways, WAYNE rocks!

thanks again to everyone here, once again, I am so glad I stumbled across this site! cheers and good luck all!

Hey ------ be nice. In a PM to me when I offered to help, she explained that she uses the overly large print due to a vision problem. Lets not pick on and be rude to the new members. Diane
