    Vegas Partner Lounge deceptive email

    You have won GBP50

    I don't think so.

It's at 50% bonus on £100 deposit, no link to t&c's.

If I click on 'claim prize' it tries to force a download on me.

    Pretty shabby.

Sounds like affiliate spam, to me...Do you have the headers from the email that you can post?

Or did they include your account number in the email?

    "Deceptive emails"

    Hi all,

We greatly appreciate and certainly hold feedback from our players in high regard.

We believe the offer was transparent in that we clearly conveyed that in order to claim the winning match bonus, a deposit was required. There was absolutely no intention to mislead, or falsely advertise something we were not offering.

    Regards,

    Curt

I look forward to not opening any more VPL emails if you think that giving them a title of - You have won........ is acceptable.

Yes but the subject line would be false then by stating, You have won GBP50.
To me that is not a win, when you have to deposit. So sorry this is IMO.

    Am i right about this?

You haven't won 50 this is clearly a deception you will be given a non withdrawable bonus if you first pay for the privilege and you can only withdraw this money if you play through a x number of times.

This is unfortunately the way companie get you to goto their website so they get extra hits and can charge their advertisers more.
