I recently opened an account with another casino, which it turns out is owned by the same group. Can they refuse to pay out my winnings on the grounds that I 'self excluded' (their words) myself from their sister company? Their reasoning is I used the words 'permanently closed' in my request which means I must have a gaming problem. I seem to recall when I called up to close my a/c, they asked if my closure was temporary or permanent and to put it in writing. The only reason I closed it was because I didn't like the site.
If you said "gambling problem" and made the closure permanent, you should not have got past registration (provided you used the same details). If you gave the reason "didn't like site", then you will probably not like the sister casino either.
Do NOT play until you have cleared things up. If you have deposited, some sites will send back the deposit and close the account under "responsible gambling" rules.
