    English Harbour BJ -software

The Black Jack soft in English Harbour casino disregards the normal BlackJack rules:

After you double, normally the player gets the first card from the stack.

In this casino, after a double (or just "sometimes"...), the dealer draws before the player.

    Look at this:

    That's just crazy!

In terms of the expected outcome then it doesn't really matter which way round the cards are drawn - but if you don't know which way they will be drawn then you don't know if they are swapped deliberately in order to cheat.

It may just be a graphical problem, but if they can't even play the cards in the correct order, who would trust their money with this software?

On the video there was also the dealer drawing several cards to a player's blackjack.
    This isn't looking good.

Same software/owners are Caribbean Gold - suggest a thread merge.

Not sure all 7 of their casinos are using the new Blackjack graphics yet, but I've seen the new graphics on Caribbean Gold and the newest one Slots Galore.

It's probably a slight aesthetic design flaw, but it's not a serious issue - as far as I can tell.

You'll note it only ever appears that the dealer gets cards first when you hit 21 or otherwise win on a double to a dealer bust.

I played thousands of hands of Real Money BJ with the new graphics and couldn't see an exception to this rule.

Basically, you win every time it happens. So I guess, hope it happens a lot?

(EDIT: Just watched the Caribbean Gold vids from the other thread. Wow. In literally what must be tens of thousands of hands, I don't think I've ever once seen that happen in Real Money play - talking about the hand were the player doubles, and cards (first card picture) get dealt to the dealer first, then player is given a 4 and loses the hand. That's freaky stuff. And a weird [very unfortunate] graphics glitch.)

it's not entirely a graphical glitch - if the dealer is drawing cards unnecessarily to a player blackjack then their must also be something happening at the server end to get the cards.

It's not so much that the glitch is a problem - but Blackjack is a pretty simple game with well-defined rules, it makes me extremely concerned about their testing and what else may be going wrong.
