So have we got a ghostpot here? A phantom jackpot rising daily deep in the bowels of Microgaming towers?

This sounds like a job for VinylWeatherMan .

I'll set my motley crew on it as soon as I have time

This is a potential PR disaster for MGS. It seems a few casinos have removed progressive jackpots for perfectly legitimate reasons, but have FAILED to keep players in the loop, fuelling speculation of foul play because of the ROGUE casinos that really HAVE stolen players' funds from progressive pools.

Had MGS been telling the truth about this being a matter of a buggy game, they should have resolved this long ago, and the game should be back. MGS have not indicated whether they have now decided the effort not worth it (low amount of play maybe), and have canned plans to return the game. If this is so, what happened to the progressive - did they dump it all into Treasure Ireland

I asked Ed Ware (32Red) about this and apparantly the game is coming back next week complete with it's progressive jackpot. I presume taking it offline had something to do with the bugs in the game back in April/May when I last had a go at playing it.
