Actually the 8-play keno is potentially quite a good game, because the chance of hitting the jackpot (which pays 10% of the progressive) is much greater than 10x the chance of hitting it onl 10-play (which pays 100% of the progressive.

Anyway, the starting value of the jackpots is supposed to be published, see every other progressive game:

The reset value for each Cleo jackpot line is 20k at max coin value (and will show as proportionally smaller amounts at lower coin values).

Jackpot hits at lower coin values remove the applicable amount from that jackpot and would ‘top up’ back to the minimum reset value if a jackpot win took that line’s jackpot below 20k.

    (some points on Cleo)

Cleo is a 9-line slot machine that includes 9 separate progressive jackpots

One jackpot is associated with each payline.

The jackpot for a given line is triggered (i.e. paid out) if the spin results in all five reel positions for that line containing five of the top-paying symbols (i.e. Cleopatra, the wild symbol).

The size of the jackpot displayed/won is tied to the coin denomination that the user selects.

Coin values range from 0.05 to 5.00 per line.

The reset value of each jackpot is 20,000 units, although that amount is ‘available’ to be won only by players at the 5.00 per line level.

Each lower coin value ‘enables’ a proportional percentage of the jackpots that will be paid under the appropriate win condition as described above.

Example: If the jackpot on line 1 is 23,500 @ 5.00 per line, a player at the 0.50 per line level would see (and be able to win) 2,350 for that jackpot.

    Hope that helps!

Thanks, could you please tell me what the initial value of these jackpots was at max coin when the game was first started, given that the money contributed by Keno players was moved over, so it must have started much higher than $20k?

    Hi thelawnet,

Sorry I still haven't got back to you on this, I'm not sure of the answer myself, and so emailed someone last week who could give me the answer - I'm just waiting to hear back from him.

We're still very much in the early stages of our forum activity and are learning a lot about what forums users want from a casino's forum rep. We're trying to setup some new channels to allow me to get quicker responses when I'm presented with questions I'm unsure about.

I'm a poker player at heart, so I need more help for the Casino requests

As soon as I hear back I'll let you know.
