US Player (Excluded State) Lost all Money

Is there anyone out there who is from the US and is or has gambled from an excluded state? If so what was your experience? Did the casino lock your account and not pay you your winnings or your deposits? Did you get your money back? I am interested in hearing from anyone who has had an experience. Please let me know if you had to do anything special to get your money back?
    Thank you

Beware of rogue casinos. These will accept players from ALL states, but will then seek to use various excuses for non-payment. Most reputable casinos will not take bets from the excluded states, with many excluding players from the whole of the USA.

The DoJ considers ALL states as "excluded states", but this relates to an interpretation of your "wire act". Casinos define "excluded states" as those states that have passed specific laws against ONLINE gambling, and "permissible states" as those that have no state laws against online gambling, relying on the federal position on the Wire act as extending to the internet.
US players from ALL states experience intermittent problems in getting paid, and in making deposits. Most of these are down to the arrangements needed to make the transactions, but there are a number of rogue casinos that seek to take advantage of these difficulties and use them as an excuse to delay payments to some players.

If you have a problem, check the rogue list, and if the casino is listed there, it is not just a case of you being from an "excluded state". If the casino is not listed as a rogue, then it may be possible to get help from the forum rep for that casino group (this even works for SOME of the lesser rogues).

If the casino takes the position that your play is voided and deposit returned, it is a case of whether the terms and conditions have been clear about this, but in any case, such action is expected to apply universally, and not just for those players that win and are suddenly found to be from an excluded state. ALL play from such excluded state should be voided, with losing players also getting their deposits back, otherwise you have the position of the casino taking an unfair advantage by having a bet they can only win or draw, and never lose.

If your from an "excluded state" most of the software providers are now blocking people from those states from even seeing the site (IP blocking), so I doubt your going to find anyone from those states that is currently playing at any good casinos...

I happen to know that the software providers have been busy closing accounts from the "Excluded" States.

Like VMW says, if your in an 'excluded" state, about the only online casino your going to be able to play at is a Rogue Casino that was going to steal your money anyway...

Remember to Vote, if you live in one of those "excluded" states, Your current state politicians are not doing you any favors by suppressing your rights and freedoms.

    Hi Marty,

Got your PM, But I am going to answer you here.

First step would be to contact the casino rep, there is a list of reps here at CM.
    (I-Gaming Forum Reps)
Let the casino rep know about the problem and hear what he has to say, usually the problem can be solved quickly this way.

However, if contacting the casino rep does not fix the problem or satisfy you you can always "Pitch a Bitch" here at CasinoMeister... Max and Bryan have had very good results over the years in solving problems like yours.
