Belle Rock Inactive Account Fees

I have casino credits sitting in dozens of accounts. In some cases, I haven't used the accounts in months. Today I learned that River Belle has been charging me an inactive account fee of $/€/£ 30 per month. I don't doubt that they have a right to charge such a fee under their terms, and I can understand needing to charge a slight fee to cover admin costs. But $/€/£ 30 per month seems excessive, and far more than is necessary. I'd be much more likely to play at their group, if I didn't need to worry about such fees.

$30 a MONTH??? That's insane! Personally I don't think there should be a fee, ever. If it were $1 or so I'd be a lot more willing to swallow it, but $30 is crazy. And from an accredited group of casinos that I happen to play at - a lot - it's a little concerning!

We are hearing more and more of this nature with some of the casinos. I posted yesterday but i still cant find the thread. Had to do with a player few months back where a casino gave them a tough time he or she was depositing then when done playing hit the withdraw button to get their funds back. Casino put a stop to this saying transaction fees killing them. So now you leave the money in and they claim this amount. Im sorry they cant have it both ways they best
owe up here and do something about this soon enough. If not they are going to land a bunch of us depositing hour later done and want our money right away to deposit elsewhere.

Do these casinos not have the courtesy to send a simple email?? Something like: "Your account is inactive. Beginning *insert date* we will deduct **$x** per month from your account to cover maintenance."

How hard would that be???

There are more casinos than we might think with such terms. The aim of the higher fees seems to be to get the account off their books by charging high fees with the intent that the account will zero out, and they can then close it. I expect most inactive accounts have an amount too small to be withdrawn, and will be wiped clean within a couple of months at these high fees.
Intercasino used to charge $2 per month after a number of months of inactivity.

The easy way to prevent this, and keep the balance intact, is to log in to each account at least once every couple of months, and make a single minimum wager. This renders the account "active".

I am sure this hurts US players the most, as they find it hard to deposit and withdraw, and may prefer to leave balances around in case they feel the urge to play again.
The publicity surrounding this issue is going to encourage players to do the sensible thing, and withdraw if they are not intending to play again within the next week (assuming all WR are met). This will end up costing the casino more in the long term, even if it starts to encourage more common sense among players when it comes to leaving balances hanging around for months.

Some casinos have even worse terms than this, they will confiscate the entire balance of an inactive account in one go.

How long is an account inactive before casinos consider the account inactive (dead?).

I didn't play online for a year after NETeller dumped U.S., (I did NOT leave money in casino accounts, btw), yet any and all casinos I reinstalled took me right back. None of them blocked my sign in with existing user & password. Some of them were still sending me (very) minor promo emails even at the end of that year of inactivity.

According to Belle Rock terms, a "dormant account" is defined as "an account that has been inactive for a period of 6 (six) months or more." So if you haven't played in 6 months, you run the risk of a $/€/£ 30 per month fee until your balance is zero.
