Again, I wasnt the one that went to the store , I was home and Rich came home and told me. I didnt take anything from anyone. I wasnt "proud" that he ended up with $38, I was shocked that the amount came out to $38.

Also, I said it would come back twofold and it did. That is how Karma works unfortunately sometimes. Heck, that guy who owns the machine could end up with $38 more somewhere else to make him whole. Thats my point. Thats how it works in my opinion. One person may take but you make it up somewhere else and that person will make it up and so on.

Also, I didnt want to drag out this long whole story about what happened excactly but now your forcing me to tell the whole thing, so here it is:

Rich went to the Giant to use coinstar....the machine was broken so he had to get in his car and drive to Genuardis to use their coinstar. He was upset too because he just put in a full day on the roof in the cold. (lol, men hate making 2 stops!) . He went to the machine and put his change in (he said he had about $7) It started making noise but the change was stuck and going straight through to the bottom where they spit out change that didnt make through. He put his cup on the bottom to catch it because it was going nuts. He yelled (not yelled persay) for a manager or someone. The manager came down from up in the CS area. He opened the machine to help Rich. There was change coming down that wasnt his because he knew he didnt have quarters. The manager said "this happened yesterday, just use whats in the catcher" Rich said "This is my change cup, I dont think I had this much" THe manager said "Well, theres no way of telling what is yours and what isnt" Rich said he could of stood there for an hour but stopped because he knew it was getting out of hand. When he stopped and told the manager that it alll wasnt his (again) it came out to $31 when they printed the receipt.

There you have it...It wasnt me, Rich didnt do anything wrong and Im sure the owner will get paid somehow. Geez, Are you happy now? I dont even know these last two posters very well but still feel compelled to share the whole kit and kiboodle

Oh and one more thing: Someone else wanted to put money in my account and I refused. They want to remain anonymous as well so they are putting the money in a CM charity instead because I wasnt looking for a windfall, I was looking to be made whole

Sorry babs7262, I was needlessly trying to raise a metaphysical question about karma in general. It was not intended as a slight against you or your husband. In the future I'll reserve those issues for a more appropriate forum.

It's Ok. I was just trying to keep it short but with so many personalities in here, You really cant. LOL.....Im not upset with anyone, I just get mad at myself because sometimes I think too much and I should of just written the whole thing.

After rereading my post, it did look like Rich was kind of "stealing" so you dont need to apologize Bryan, I just need to put everything the first time so there isnt any confusion. I cut corners in here because Ive been here so long that people usually know where Im coming from and I shouldnt do that because newer people (not saying your new new) dont know me

Babs..............I would not mess with Karma as being a game.........sometimes I think it is a test of honesty, unless of course you don't feel you have been made whole by the "mystery gift" at 3Dice. Just my humble opinion.

This happened before the mystery gift. The machine happened at around 6pm and the gift was in my account around 930-10pm. I never mess with Karma! I respect it

Sorry all but i think "karma" is crap,no such thing in my world things are what they are and just because your nice to someone or do a good thing for someone sure don't mean now something good is coming your way,lol no way jose

That's is why there are so many different options out there in this world. I agree with the part of your sentence when you say "just because you do something nice, it comes back" THats really not what Karma does IMO. I feel that Karma works the opposite and ends up in the favor of the nice doer because they were wronged, not because they were nice.

Its hard to explain Karma sometimes. but nevertheless, you are certainly entitled to your beliefs and opinions but shouldnt go as far to say its "crap" I wouldnt call your beliefs "crap" I would just say that I dont feel the same way as you and feel there are other reasons or no reasons at all why things happen

I hate to see this thread turning in the direction that it is. Babs shouldn't have to defend her beliefs and as she said everyone is entitled to their own. Let's get it back on track with the original topic. If you want to debate Karma, why not start a new thread about Karma in the attic.
