Bodog doesnt pay me

Hi,
I requested a money transfer cashout from Bodog on May 1, was approved the same day, and to this date i have not received it :(
Since i read on 2+2 that somebody requested a cashout the same day and was told that they processed it though check instead, i have asked them several times though email to check the status of my transfer, to which they invariably reply:

"We are still awaiting your Money Transfer information, this process normally takes about 7-10 business days. As soon as the information becomes available to us we will be sure to inform you via e-mail in order to pick up your funds. Should you require further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us."

which is quite frustrating seeing how hundreds of people that requested a cashout after me have their money within 1-4 days :(

Is there anything i can do here? PAB? I would call their support but my spoken english isnt exactly the best :)

but the thing is, the standard delay for the checks is one month, for WU is like 2 days...
And i specifically asked them to verify that an error want made because its a PITA to clear international checks here, but they just give me their "just wait" reply.

Personally, I've never had a problem with Bodog. Just recently I requested a payout and It was processed on 5/9/07 - Approved on 5/10/07 and ready for pickup on 5/14/07. The money transfer usually happens very fast. I wouldn't worry about Bodog paying out though. Just be patient.

Youll get paid

I have had a few cashouts and usually wait about 15-20 days for a hard check that does NOT bounce! They just take a bit. They make good on their cashouts

Update: i was tired of waiting and told them to cancel the cashout on wednesday may 15 and they said OK, then i asked when i was going to get my money back and they replied:

Thank you for contacting Customer Service. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience of our current payout delays. We have learned that a large number of payouts submitted via Money Transfer have been delayed by our third party processor, which has affected a large number of our clients. The processor is restricted by the volume that they can process and have been facing other challenges as well, which have all contributed to these delays. While we are doing everything we can, these payouts are being sent out by the processor in a more gradual fashion than were used to. Your payout will be cancelled and returned to your Bodog Account but at this moment we cannot project when with any degree of accuracy. Once we are on top of our current backlog, we expect to be back to the speedy payout system that has earned our company one of the best reputations in this industry. Again, we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and we will work extra hard from a customer service standpoint to win back the respect of you and the rest of our clientele.

which seeing as how people keep getting theirs within 8 days is just BS.

Money is still in the air

 I'm quite confused as to why you would tell them to cancel the payout. Do you mean that you had them put your winnings back into your account so you could play it off? If so, what if you won more? What would you do then?

after having money tied for 2 weeks without reason just because their incompetence i just wanted it back, and who knows, maybe i would have better luck next time.
As it stands now, i am resignated and can only wait...

i posted already that i too recieved the same email that you did. i finally recived a check after 5 to 6 weeks later. i cashed it and about 4 days later i recieved another email from bodog stating that the check was not negotiable to please do not cash it. well it was to late i already had. they told me that there was a chance that the check would bounce and if it did to fax them the paper work and they would totally refund me with a new check and add in the NFS that the bank would charge me. im waiting at this point to see if the check bounces so that i can go to the bank and make it right. its such a hassle to deal with bounced checks. others on this site said to use wu and it is faster and better.. next time i will indeed try that.

Just know your sender's name and address if they ask for more than the M control number. And of course if you are interogated, act like you're pissed off and it's none of their business; a dowery, fees for freelance writing, whatever. WU itself will deny any known gambling transaction, here there or anywhere.

get er done:thumbsup:

NEVER DID WESTERN UNION-HOWS IT WORK

Do you just look for the closest WU office to you and provide them with that address?

Hi footdr, I have done several of these and they can raise some eyebrows from the clerks unless you have all your details straight. As Lojo stated you need to have the correct info. Just go to any WU (but should choose one that is not located at the scankiest looking store as they may not have the funds to "cash" the wire check after issuing it to you) and fill out the recieve money form. Insert the MTCN # given you by the casino and also the fields for sender info including name of person sending it to you and the city/state or county they are sending it from in addition to your "recipient" info. I had an issue once when I did not know the location the sender sent it from and a clerk was told to record my transaction in the dreaded RED book as suspicious. Nevertheless, I got the funds and all should be fine for you.
:)

Although, i don't like this casino, because i kn ow, that their payouts are very bad, i gaved them a try, but this was a very big mistake from myself!

I made a deposit with moneybookers ($ 100) on Saturday Night, but today it is not available in my account!

Certainly i called directly on Saturday the costumer service to check this and i was told, that my account will be updatet within 5 minutes.

Ok, i wait and after 20 minutes i wrote them an email, because nothing was in my account.

After that, i was told, that it takes a little more time, but on Sunday morning, it is in my account!

Ok, but now it's money Evening and nothing is here!

Than i got a very funny email from their support, which one didn't read the messages, which i wrote before!

"further review of your account we do not see a $100 deposit attempted with your moneybookers account."

Are they joking, or what?

Ok, my moneybookers account have 2 emailaddresses and my prefered address is another one, but i didn't know, that the other prefered address, send the deposit to bodog, when i log in with my another emailaddress.

Btw. i play in about 20 another Casinos, but this was never any problem, because i always get my money directly in my account, on all another Casinos (MG, RTG, Playtech)

But the problem is, that the last support guy told me, that he didn't see anything, although they know exactly about my problem and that the money wasn't directly transfered to my account, because the deposit were sent from another emailaddress from me.

I don't understand their problem, because they know, that this $ 100 deposit from another emailaddress is from ME and now are 2 days ago and they are not able to give me my money on my account!?

Time to Pitch a Bitch, i think!

UPDATE!!!!

50 minutes, after posting this here, my money was now finally on my account!

So it takes now "only" 45 hours!

well i finally got my bad check from bodog resolved . they did issue me a new one. li havent cashed it yet. anyway they did not reimburse me for my NFS fee or add a 10 percent to my casino account or cover the bad checks i had bounce at my bank because of this bad check. i had the money in the bank to cover my incoming checks but when the check from bodog bounced the bank automatically withdrew the monies from my account and caused my bank balance to be in the red. i did fax the bank paperwork to bodog and told them about not covering the nsf and my bounced checks as they stated in the emails that they sent me that they were sorry for any inconviences and would cover the fees. however they did not. i emailed and asked them why and they told me to call the casino and gave me the number. i wont mess with it or probably play there anymore. hope when i cash this check it dont bounce.

reda,
i have to ask..why are you willing to let them screw you out of reimbersement for nsf's?
those suckers can really add up..i know from a bounced check i recieved from riverbelle years and years ago
at 30 dollars a pop when all was said and done i was almost a grand in the red
if i were you id raise a big stink over this. a screwed up bank account can haunt you for years to come.
good luck
hunter

BODOG-STILL BACKLOGGED

Email today stated they are catching up but still backlogged, will get paid eventually.

I am sure I will, but as far as playing goes, I am done. Closed my C2P account and just waiting for last 4,600.00 owed me from 3 casinos.

i'm also caught in the back log...

I made a cashout request 4/29/07 and it was approved the same day... Still waiting for my check in the mail... These guys use to be really good... But now going over a month I'm disappointed in their service.... I keep getting the same e-mails...They are back logged...bla..bla..bla.. Can't tell me when my check was mailed out.... bla bla bla.... Hope to get it soon.. I think I have waited long enough :eek2:

Not keeping track of when Clients checks are mailed out? Scary

From there website: Check By Mail Payout

All checks are mailed by first class post (Monday through Friday). After being processed from your eCash account, a mailed check should arrive in approximately 15 - 20 business days for most US destinations.

A few e-mails from them:

Dear Mr. .....

Thank you for contacting Bodog Customer Service.

In regards to your inquiry, we always give estimated time frames when
clients can
expect to receive their payout requests because we don't have the
ability to guarantee
an exact date when their withdrawal will arrive. We understand that the
recent payouts
that were processed via check are taking a lot longer than we initially
anticipated
and that it can be very frustrating for our clients; however, our
processor is limited
to the number of transactions that they can process each day.

Since they have received many more payouts requests than they are able
to process each
day, it created a bit of a backlog for them. We are trying to get this
backlog cleared
up as quickly as we possible can so that our clients can receive their
payouts;
however, it will take some time.

Please understand that this industry is constantly changing and there
are not a lot of
financial institutions that necessarily want to be associated with
online gambling
sites; therefore, over time the processors that we deal with may
change.

We understand that you are anxious to receive your payout; however, we
can not give
any time frames as to when your withdrawal will arrive; we just do not
have that
information. However you are guaranteed to be paid. We have been in
the business 11
years and have never missed a payout so while we cannot guarantee when
you will get
it, we can guarantee that you will get it.

Should you require further assistance, please do not hesitate to
contact us.

Best Regards,
Customer Service

NEW THREAD "BODOG EMPLOYEE-INSIDE SCOOP"

Please read the new thread. The employee explains the problem with bodog payments

yes i have read the new thread posted by the insider of bodog. somehow with all the trouble i have had recently i tend to believe this person. i have deposited my 2nd check from bodog and i will let it sit to see if it goes through, since the first one bounced im being careful. i cant have any more bounced checks. and after i thought about it and read the response to my post i have decided not to let bodog slide on my nfs fees. i will call them and see what they have to say, my total amount of nfs fees was 230 dollars.

thanks hunterduke for the pep talk. i do intend to call bodog and try to recover my 230 dollar loss. but with all the info i have read i wonder if the money will even be good if they decide to pay. come to think of it when i first posted. BAD CHECK FROM BODOG. ANYONE ELSE? I didnt get any other replies as to anyone else getting a bad check. could it have only been me?

MAYBE ON THIS FORUM

Nobody else probably has received one lately HAHA!

Everyone seems to be waiting. But google "bodog delays+bounced checks", there have been other posts elsewhere.

I believe this person was on the up and up. I think he might have said he was a canadian, college student. he gives the department he works in as I recall.

I am go to go the forum again and check out if there are more posts.

maybe they are getting their act together? It would seem that only one person has had a bad check, and yes their payouts are slower, but nothing like the 5 months for american players that other casinos have been pulling.

well i got my other check form bodog by fed ex. bodog assured me it was good this time. however it will sit in my bank about 14 days before i try to spend it. i also called bodog in trying to recover my nfs fees totalling up to 230 dollars. security at bodog told me to send them my bankiing history proving that i did really have the 7 bad checks with a 32 dollar nfs fee for each one. i did as they asked and within a few hrs they had credited my casino account with 198.00. it was still short about 38 dollars but i dont want to complain. im kinda scared to actually win a jackpot because i had to wait for ever on a check and then if its no good im screwed.
