I received an e-mail from EcoCard saying they will not work with US banks. Has anyone else received such an e-mail or have experience with EcoCard withdrawals and US banks? Fortune Room has repeatedly asked me to register an EcoCard account to use for withdrawals which have been backed up for months like so many others. It seems that withdrawing funds to EcoCard will lock them up as Click2Pay did. Has anyone has success with EcoCard and Fortune Room?

This is really scary because EcoCard is my only means of getting my money out of River Belle. If anyone knows any different please confirm.

From online casino conditions:
EcoCard is a network of European banks offering a credit card alternative primarily targeted at online gamers. It is internationally available, except in the U.S. Using an SSL banking interface server as a means of making real time financial transactions, an ECO account comes with account history tracking and real-time balance information. Billing itself as an alternative to credit cards, the ECO card does not take credit card for deposits; Rather, ECO takes a variety of transfers including

Well you are lucky because I for one do not have a Click2pay account. And if what I am reading EcoCard may NOT fund back to US banks. I am awaiting confirmation of this before my money gets stuck somewhere else.

Didnt I say ECO-CARD would pull this $hit? And Belle Rock knew it all alone. They are now banking on you spending it back with them or a sister casino. Don't Fug with this group anymore!

Try depositing at InetBet via ecocard, give them some action, and see if they will ACH it for you.

I did not receive this email. Could you please copy paste it for us? (Deleting any personal/account info, of course.)

that post from online-casino conditions has been there for months. As a matter of fact, ecocard had upgraded their software to act more like an e-wallet since that information was posted. I dont think their info is correct.

well, what a coincidence, I just had a withdrawel from goldenreef hit my eco account, just made a withdrawel to my bank in florida!!!!, not all of the info you read on the internet is true!!! eco did send out an e-mail last week stating that if you use their service, your activities should be legal in the country that you live in, and that they should be not held responsible if you do!!! that e-mail was covering their butt re us laws. They are putting the onus on the player instead themselves.

Thanks, Eduun

for clarifying my message. That is exactly the message I received form Ecocard...alluding to laws of one's own country. Implications seemed pretty clear or why would they send the message.

QUESTION ABOUT ECO CARD

do you have to make at least one deposit to eco card in order to withdrawal to your eco card account and then request a withdrawal from eco card to bank account?

I found eco card confusing so I have yet to use my account.

I tried to withdrawal from a casino to it once but I entered my eco card account number(not my eco card login) and it said ACCOUNT NOT FOUND or Valid or something like that

no, at golden reef I had 1900.00 waiting processing when neteller went down(thank g-d), they reversed my withdrawel and suggested that I open an eco account. I changed my preferred method of payout to eco and they sent my withdrawel to them without ever having to deposit.you can pm me if you have any other questions.

EcoCard

Just to throw in my 2 cents..I too opened an Eco account when C2P stopped transferring money to U.S. banks and by gosh after $30 in fees it is in my account this morning.

And no, the first deposit I did to Eco was from a casino..I've never deposited from my bank account.

Hi guys. Well, it seems that most casinos ask for depositing with ecocard first, before you can withdraw funds. Do you know any which could just release your money to ecocard without initial deposit? Thanks

Thanks eduun. Well, there's nothing written about that
on their cashier's page though, but I'll give it a try. )

I dont know why they havent upgraded their website, but it is available as a withdrawel method when you go to cashout

good luck!!!

Thats illegal.
Its called money laundering.

of course its a good idea to bet with at least half the money, play very conservatively, then cashout!!!

Could you explain? If the money is from legitimate sources, he can do anything he likes with it. Depositing by Click2Pay and withdrawing by cheque is not money laundering. If the money is the proceeds of crime, then any transaction involving it is money laundering.

No problem withdrawing with EcoCard

I don' know what are you talking about folks. I have been able transfering funds back and forth with EcoCard to MG casinos.

yesterday I spoke with Eco customer support to find out any US related matters and listen what I found out:

- they may probably exit US anytime soon, but if this happens, US customers will be able to withdraw funds to their bank account at any time. Note that the only bank they don't transfer funds is Commerce Bank, what is not a big deal.
- I was told, if ecocard exits US, they will send an e-mail to all customers notifying about it in advance and accounts will not be suspended
- until this has happened, everybody can make deposits, withdraw from merchants and so on. there will no no suspension like we experienced with neteller.

keep rollin'! :D
