A Casino that is using Odds On software and with relations to English Harbour.

At least two months they were using cheating software while they were planning to develop a very mysterious Video Poker Double-up Slots feature where the frequency of each card were weighted.

    Group,

I run an independent auditing service for online casinos: www.certifiedfairgambling.com . I took over this auditing business in June of 2006, with the blessings of Michael Shackleford (the "Wizard of Odds"), who previously ran this auditing service. At the time I took over, there was an issue with the doubling feature on certain games in the English Harbour group, as noted and discussed.

As the auditor for English Harbour casino group, I have examined their log files at each of their casinos for every game for every month since taking over these duties in June of 2006. My services are completely independent and exceedingly thorough.

The "Certified Fair Gambling" seal is given to the English Harbour casino group to post on their website to signify that they are willing participants in these audits, that they are committed to fairness, and finally, that their games are fair.

    With best regards,

    Eliot

Then why was it posted earlier in the thread that Hot Pepper casino was using this seal without permission?

The "English Harbour" group includes the following casinos subject to monthly audits to maintain the "Certified Fair Gambling" seal:

English Harbour Casino (US, UK, EUR)
    Millionaire Casino
    SuperSlots Casino
    Caribbean Gold Casino
    Silver Dollar Casino
    All Poker Casino

Hotpepper is licensed to use the same software as these casinos, but is under separate management and is not subject to monthly audits by CFG. I hope this is sufficient to address your concern about Hotpepper.

    With best regards,

    Eliot

Thanks for the clarification. This in itself raises a red flag with me. It definitely doesn't prove that the software has a "lose" switch that management can turn off/on at will.

I contacted Michael Shackleford about this issue, and he told me this was an ongoing problem he faced with several on-line casinos.

I am continually looking for casinos that are using the seal without my permission; the list indicated on the Certified Fair Gambling website is current.

I started to audit Hot Pepper casino beginning with their February log files, shortly after this post, I should have updated it, but forgot.

The seal at Hot Pepper is valid.

Yes very reputable - let's all rush and deposit here. Here's hoping the OP gets her money as quickly as possible.

Of these, three seem to no longer exist and www.hotpeppercasino.com is now being audited monthly by CFG.
