Ultimate Bet Problems with Payout - resolved

I am a new viewer and writer on this site, but I wanted to express some problems I have been having with Ultimate Bet and was curious is anyone else has had the same. I opened a new accout with Ultimate Bet a couple of weeks ago with an intial 500 dollars. After losing that (like I always do), I added another 800 dollars. To my suprise I played that 800 up to 40500 on limit hold'em. I simply moved to bigger stakes as I made more money and it payed off. Suddenly last week, ultimate had a site crash while I was playing at a table with approximately 27000. After the crash, my account was minus this money and I was scared to death. I began writing emails to ultimate and was asking where my money went. Needless to say, I received my credit 24 hours later after a sleepless night.

After the crash and scare, I decided to withdraw my money from this site as I had never experienced such an event on a site in three years of gaming on line involving such money. I decided to withdraw my money and probably cash out some and gamble some more on another site. Last week before the scare, I put in a withdraw of 6 thousand and change. Friday after the scare I withdrew the rest. As of today, August 23rd I have received nothing! Ultimate Bet first told me 48 hours, then 72 hours, now they say my account is under review for being so new and for such a huge withdraw.

Question: Has anyone heard of this?

I did nothing wrong and I am scared that they are stalling for some reason. I am an honest person with integrity and I feel like they are accusing me of some kind of dishonest practice. I admit I got lucky, but I don't think waiting a week for my money is good/fair practice. I won this money fair and square and I just wanted some insight.

    Thanks Guys!!

UB had a massive crash a few months ago where players had their money locked up for days or weeks. I got mine unlocked in 8-9 days. All of my emails were ignored during the disappearing of my cash. They handled that situation very poorly and the mass exodus of players punished them for it. I have heard the last few days it has been happening again. Their support is far below average in response time and even lower in quality IMO. What happened with me is I jut logged in every day and finally I saw my money there. I did not get credited the few dollars in bonus I cleared for those hands but that was no big deal, I was just happy my money reappeared.

Some players waited as long as 2 weeks with no answer from support. There is no phone number to call and their affiliate program is outsourced. You could pitch a bitch here if it is not resolved quickly, maybe Bryan (or someone else here) knows some people higher up there.

I would keep emailing them and contacting them to find out what's going on with the withdrawal. But 72 hours isn't that long to wait honestly. Give it a week and see what happens from there. I usually get fast payouts with UB within a day, but it's never in the amounts you just described. I wouldn't panic just yet. I haven't found UB to screw people, just keep at them.

    Cool Thanks

Thanks guys for your replies. I know and realize that four or five days isn't a long time, but I guess I was more concerned with them stating its under review. I feel like they are accusing me of doing something wrong. I was extremely lucky and have never won that much money. I was excited and having a good time, but now I am more stressed then ever. I did send an email to Bryan on this site and hopefully he can help me resolve this as soon as possible.

It's a shame! I enjoyed playing on their site tremendously! I just received another email from their support stating they understand my frustration and hopefully this will resolved soon?! The sad thing is, this is my five year anniversary coming up and I was going to suprise my wife with a trip. Guess that will have to wait!!

I will keep you all informed.

Hope you get your $$$ soon, I would be a tad worried if I was in your situation also. BTW turning $800 into $40500 on limit holdem is a fantastic achievement

    Question

I response to your comment. What else can I do??? Do you think that a website such as Ultimate Bet who is so well known in the poker world would really stiff a winner? This is my first problem dealing with a payout. I don't know what else to do at this point. Any further help from anyone would be great!

    Hi Budtman:

I feel pretty sure that you'll eventually get your money. But do yourself a huge favor and make copies of any and all communications to and from UB. Get yourself a notebook and put copies of everything EVERYTHING you've got on this situation in it. All the way back to day one if you can.

    Have a good one.

    Question

Thanks for the information and the positive feedback!! My wife keeps telling me to be positive also, but with all the scams out there I just am afraid I was taken advantage of.

I have every email between me and UB staff in my in box. Other than that, that's all I have. Anything else or do you think Bryan on this site can help? Have you heard of them reviewing a withdrawal for this long?

Thanks for any information!! This site has been real helpful and everyone seems real professional.

    Hi budtman:

It couldn't hurt to fill out a pitch a bitch form with all the relevant information included so that Bryan can take a cursory look at the situation. You'd just be that much further ahead of the game if they continue to slow walk you.

One thing I would be very leery of though is accepting any partial payment schedule from U.B. that would string you out for months on end as that would just buy U. B. time if they are in a cash crisis and that type of arrangement can't serve anyone well.

    Have a good one.
