    I send my request

    Thanks for your post Graham..

I hope I donīt get any more emails from your casino group.

    I appreciate you posting here.

Never the less, I donīt know how you got a hold of me since I have never dealt with any of those casinos.

If you can find the source, I would appreciate it in order to stop doing business with them or stop contacting them

I really donīt like companies sharing my info with others. The weird thing was that Casino Kingīs email reached my inbox. If it had been my junk mail I wouldnīt have complained.

Since it was sent to my inbox, it tells me one of your spamming servers is linked to a company I allow to contact my inbox.

I am no internet professional, however it was weird to me.

Thanks for your post, I havenīt received any other emails from you guys.

    Hi all,

Therefore it must be the case that one or more casino groups is either selling your email address, or else their employees are stealing your email address. I think it must be the latter given that no casino would want to sell your address to a rival casino (unless they didn't want your business, I suppose)
    absolutely correct in my opinion.

Since I have websites I have the luxury of being able to create email addresses at whim (using an all-included option on a domain so I can for instance if my domain is CMsagoodguy.com then I could create 1@ or casinoX@ ... you get the idea), and as such whenever I join a casino I ... most times will create a new address exclusively for that casino.

now having explained that: I can say that your email address is probably going to get sold, traded or stolen when you play at the majority of RTG casinos ... some of the playtechs (they seem to keep hitting new lows which I previously hadn't thought possible so I don't look for things to get better in this area either) ... and it has happened to at least one MGS group of casinos which claim (and I've no reason to doubt them) that their list was stolen by an employee with an axe to grind.

Whatever the case; they were correct in that the security of the addresses had been compromised because that was some years ago and I still get spam to addresses which start out xxxxxxcasino@ and the casino sending the spam is not in many instances even the same software as the original casino - let alone the actual casino's name in the email address. ( casino's name is left unsaid out of respect for the fact that nobody should get extra bad publicity because they were a victim of theft - it can happen to anybody even when they have great security because at some point you've got to let the info be available to eyes other than your own and as such ... s#it happens.

Can't say about the playtechs because frankly I haven't played a ton of them. BlackWidow was my first experience with them and I think to any seasoned player that's enough said for my reasons for not having played them much further.

But the RTGs ... I think definitely either trade or sell the lists between themselves or else have some of the worst quantities of disgruntled former employees stealing their email lists of all the online software-grouped casinos put together.

    Well,

Is the first time I get spammed by an online casino to my personal inbox.

Learing from which source they got it will be nice, however I am sure they will deviate the subject with some argument, so its not worth trying to find out.

However I will be checking what reaches my inbox and making sure to monitor from which companies I have not ever made business with are getting my info.

I am pretty sure that the casino from which Casino King got my address is not happy about it.

Not a good technique to make a reliable business in my opinion.
