Jackpot City Payout/Another Belle Rock Debacle

Hi Everyone! I have been an online player since 2002 and never have I experienced the following with a cashin. I have played at several Bell Rock casinos and requested cashin of various amounts. None over $1000, till this May where I had a run of good luck on a $75 deposit and a cashin of $1235. I requested payment by courier check and received an email on May 28th that I had been paid. However, now the trouble begins....after a week of no courier delivery, I decided to call Jackpot City to see if the check was sent by post instead of courier. They assured me, yes, check was sent by courier, should be there by the end of the week. The time passes, and now after two weeks of no check, I call again, requesting a number from the courier service so that I can track the check. CS can not find any tracking number, told me to call back the next day. (I then PM Belle Rock here. Who responded that he is looking into the matter.) So, I waited two days to call back hoping that by having ample time to investigate I would have answers. When I called back this morning, I am now told, sorry, no check was sent due to my closing of a Citadel account in January 2005. What????? I asked what that had to do with my payout being processed by check? And why have I been told this past 2 weeks that I had been paid? No answers from them for this question, only that I must choose a different method for payment, and I need to call back in an hour to make arrangements for this. Well, I had to leave for work and will not be able to make this call till this evening. I will see what CS tells me then and I am sure I will be put through the document wringer now too. With this type of trouble from casinos, we do not need any Senate bill, we as players will simply stop playing online.

    Typical

This just goes to show how incompetent the CS are. It takes 2 weeks to discover that they were "lying" to a player about having already sent a check, and now they are trying to blame this on something YOU did last year!!

This only strengthens the case for the other players. It shows CS are so incompetent that they will stick to a story without even the most basic checks being made once a player casts doubt on it.

I am not sure what "other method" will do for someone in the states, I thought that a Check was about the only thing left.

BelleRock will most likely want you to use Payspark - they seem to have had a habit in the past of paying players by opening a Payspark account on their behalf and sticking the money in there!

I can vouch for the first part. When Jackpot Factory had an offer on Payspark I found that my E-mail was already registered, guess who by ( no prizes!). I seem to have one Payspark in dollars, and one in Pounds (an ATM variant). Sadly, the casinos I have in dollars do not take Payspark, so I have let the account wither.

Did you get anything about the check having been sent in writing? This could be proof of incompetence - otherwise they may claim you simply misunderstood them on the phone.

The time your check takes to reach you is dependant on the method of delivery you chose:
    - Check by regular mail: 14 – 21 days.
    - Check by courier service: 3 – 5 days
    - Check by speed mail: 6 – 9 days

So, after receiving this, wouldn't you think the check would be there soon? Also, if I hadn't called, how would I know anything? I feel online casinos are happy to payout $300 here and $500 there, but if you hit that magic $1000 and above, all you get is trouble. Anyway, thanks for listening. I will keep you posted with how this all turns out. Its not looking good........

Chatted with CS again. They said they would be happy to send my money ACH, all they need is account info. So, I gave them ACH info. for my netspend account. Maybe, this will now be resolved. I will know in 3 days if money is not transferred. I will follow up with call to CS again tomorrow to see if everything has happened as promised.

    Damning

That E-mail is pretty damning. It is in the PAST TENSE, giving a date of when the check was sent, not a statement saying it has been processed FOR payment by check (yet to be sent).

That looks really bad - how they can argue that their documented records are accurate enough to deny winnings (other thread) escapes me.

Their system records a check having been sent on 30th May, but this didn;t happen, so if their system claims a player has done something "wrong" with regard to fraud and/or multiple accounts, how are we expected to accept this at face value as an accurate process.

Here is another update on my cash in situation, as its nearing 3 weeks since I was told it was processed. Called support today to see if they have now processed via ACH, of course they can not find information, and I am told they will call back with news of cash in. 5 hours later I receive call back that I will need to call Citadel about the problem since I requested to close the account back in 2005. O.K., I call citadel, they tell me can't release any funds till I send them a letter requesting my account to be open again, and then they will CONSIDER, whether or not that will happen. Geesh...I am going to call Belle Rock CS and demand they resolve this for me and send via ACH as was arranged two days ago. I will keep you posted.

It's obviously a mistake of them when they said:yes!check was sent by courier.

Why don't you choose Neteller as a method for payment?

    I think it's really a convenience.

    Absolutely disgraceful.

Are there any casinos left which arent either cheating us, lying, voiding winnings over a single obscure term, delaying payments, endless ID parades, fraud investiagtions, abuser labelling, etc etc.

The more I read the less and less I think i will ever play online again.

Yes, I can say at this time 32Red seems to be honest.
