    Lightbulb MicroGaming Viper Bug

I want to tell you about a bug I discoverd in the new MicroGaming Viper software.

in their last update I saw something very strange, that when the player get 21 or BJ in the Classic BJ, for a reason I can't understand, the player should press on the "stand" button in order to proceed, which is very stupid, and this is not in any other BJ game beside the Classic.
attached 3 screen shot to show the problem (one 21, and 2 BJ's). lets call it the compulsory "Stand" button problem.

this is not the bug, but it might be the cause for it.

THE BUG - I play classic BJ in Desert Dollar casino a month ago, and while split aces I got 21 in the first hand, and needed to press the "stand" button in order to continue, what happened was that the second hand was "stand" without pressing any button.
just to be clear on that, on the second hand (which I got 5), I compulsory stand by the software bug.
the bug is the following, when the player split and get 21 in the first hand, he has to press on the "stand" button, and by doing that he stand by mistake (bug), in the second hand.
when I looked in PlayCheck (which I have), there is no why to see the buttons which I pressed, they don't store it, but it seems that the action was to stand.

because I was 100% sure that it was not my mistake, and I was sure it was a bug, I contact the casino support to fix this problem and to return my loss because of it.
the reply I got was from VIP department of FL, on behalf of MicroGaming -
"Game upgrades consist of adding new games and not the actual game software. "
saying that it was probebly my error, and there is nothing wrong with the game.

because I can prove the compulsory "Stand" button problem, and it is indeed the actual game (as been told by MG that was untouched), I sent them another email, and got a nice reply from the Codie - the VIP Manager.
he asked me to tell him the software version, and to give him screen shots of the problem, and he will investigate it.
I sent him the screen shots attached and the new version#: 3.11.1.210, which is also attached as a screen shot, include a good version that this problem is not exist in it(attached also).
but told him that in order to find the bug someone need to play a lot to reveal it, and let him deal with it.

this was a month ago, and I did not get any reply from him since, I have sent him two email to know if there is any progres in the check, but got reply only on my second email from the support to reinstall the software, which I did, and the compulsory "Stand" button was still there.

I am 100% sure there is (or was), a bug in the software, and I know I lose money because of it.

I told fortune lounge, that I will not post this until they will investigate it, but now I see that this was stuck and undealt, so I think this is the time now.

I believe that all the MicroGaming Classic BJ players had seen the compulsory "Stand" button problem (if they had update the software - automatically)
and I want you to watch and see if you have this split bug as well.

the more players will post and show screen shots of it, the more pressure on MicroGaming to check their software, which they thing is bugless!!!
and as such the more chances I will get my money back ;-)

    yours
    Liz

    Welcome to Casinomeister, Liza!

Personally, I would call that a bug as well - but it also occurs to me that some gamblers might be crazy enough to want to split or double down on that hand.

Nevertheless - if this is a software issue, it needs fixing badly. MGS, take note!

you got a mistake here, in those hands - compulsory "Stand" button problem, there is no option to hit, split or double, only stand.
this what makes it so stupid.
you can see it in the screen shots above.

Missed that - thanks for pointing it out.

Definitely what I would call a bug.
