Since when do winnings from a bonus feature go toward bonus balance?

Ok heres the deal.
(now i can be loosing my mind but I don't ever recall this situation happening before)

I deposited 26.50 into redflush..I received an automatic 20% bonus..
I am playing and playing..and i take a look at my bonus balance in the software and it says that my bonus balance is over 30$ and my cash is 2$...
I am like whAAAT?? so i go into live chat support and i am told that any money that we win from a feature( like free spins or a bonus round) will always go into our bonus balance and not our cash balance..
Is this correct? I can see if i had made no deposit and had received some free spins or something but not if I made a deposit..
I have been playing at these MG casinos for years and I have never noticed this before. I was told it has been like this for years..
Your thoughts anyone??? Has this really been the norm for years?

hmmm, thats weird. I know they gp into the bonus balance UP to the bonus you recived and then they release it $10 at a time..
What u are saying has never happened to me atleast, someone might wanna look into that more..

Hopefully the way i have explained this makes sense...
I don't think it is correct either..i did ask if they were still ecogra certified and the person told me yes and that i was welcome to check with them.
I play a lot on line and mostly MG casinos and this is the first time I have EVER seen this...does anyone else play at red flush and have they experienced this?

This doesn't look right...

I think CS is confusing a "free spins bonus" with a "bonusround/freespins while playing with a bonus". Two completely different things.

Dunno the solution though

I just played at redflush. Deposited and had a bonus added to it. I at no time noticed that my bonus value went up at all. I had a lot of features and free spins. Bonus finished and i cashed out. I have never encountered what you have stated before, so I think there is something wrong. Find their rep and message them on this.

This has happened to me at Red Flush when I had a small bonus balance left from a previous free spins promo or deposit bonus - if you don't zero out it will add the value of your previous bonus to your new bonus.

Did you receive a bonus on your last deposit?

I'll bet that is the problem.

No, that isnt what happened..i had a zero balance, made my deposit and received a 20% bonus. I then played..and what they did was each time i won anything on free spins or in a bonus round on a slot they didnt credit my account with the money, all they did was add it to the bonus amount. And after speaking to them, this is how they said it is supposed to be..
Im going to try to PAB with their manager..and see what happens..I really think this is wrong, if nothing else very very shady..LoL

It isn't the way it's supposed to happen.

Sounds like your previous bonus became "sticky" for some reason.

Contact the Rep here first before you PAB.

there is definitely a bug in the mg bonus system. at one mg casino my whole account balance was neatly divided into 2 equal parts no matter how much i won. say i deposited 30 and got a 30 bonus. when my balance went to 100 the cas bal was 50 and the bonus balance was also 50. at another mg it was even worse. my bonus balance increased as i won and the cas balance remained constant. i am also sure i zeroed out before i deposited so there should have been no carryover with regard to unfinished wrs.

I have been told this same thing from more than one MG casino re. wins from free spins are credited to the bonus, not cash account. I would invite a rep from any accredited MG casino to comment on whether this is the case at their casino. 32 Red? What's your take on this? Any other takers?

I know that sometimes when playing through a bonus I am surprised that after a lot of play, how little the bonus account is reduced. I asked support about it one time and they said $$'s in bonus account are moved to cash account in $10 increments, which explained a lot to me. At the time, I didn't think to ask them where the $$'s from free spins are allocated when playing with a bonus, but I know I have been told the same thing as the OP before... however I can't remember where.

Unlike many here, I don't have the patience to record all bets and determine where I am at with wagering requirements. If I am having a good run, I continue playing and cashout if I have a decent enough balance to do so.
If I am having a bad run, I never make it through the wagering requirements so it's a moot point for me regarding how much I have played through.

But it would be great to get a sampling of CM members playing different MG casinos to ask CS if $$ from free spins are credited to the cash or bonus account and then report back here your answers in regard to the MG casino you are playing at!
