Club World - Alladins GOLD Chip

I received the email below, so I tried out their chip, managed to double it up and proceeded to initiate a withdrawal for a measly $50.

Surprise! Withdrawal removed and monies confiscated.

I contacted support, who then tried to claim that the email below was a fake and that it was not a direct invitation of the casino..

Now I have lost at least a couple grand at Clubworld without EVER being able to initiate a withdrawal, this one at Aladdins would have been my first and they are claiming that in addition to the below email being a fake (which it clearly is not as it quotes my name and username), that I have claimed multiple coupons. If I have done this, then why send another free chip???

Seems to me like a classic bait and switch. Get them in there playing on a free chip, hope they lose and then deposit.... If they try to withdrawal on the chip, no problem, we will just make a bunch of excuses!

    They cannot do this.
Lauren <promotions@clubworldcasinos.com> is the usual, legit promotion mailadress for all CWC promos.
    Not some shady affiliate.
Its definately NOT a fake mail.

I would contact the rep. here, there has to be some kind of misunderstanding, if not, file a PAB, as CWC is accredited.

Honestly, its not worth the $50 to try to get the money from anyone, just wanted to make sure it goes on record for shady practices

    mixed message

"It's been a while since.." and then " once you have created your account..."

So which is it? If they have noticed that you haven't been at the casino , hence.."it's been a while since.." then why would they say," once you have created your account"?

A Chinese proverb says, " At the gambling table, there are no father and sons" - 'Criminal Minds'.

"a while since" refers to Club World, but "once you have created an account" refers to a DIFFERENT casino in the group. The marketing is based on the player possibly being disatisfied by their experience at Club World, but may still like RTG software. The aim is to get the player to try a different "skin", and with a free chip this is a "no obligation" offer.

If this really is a "fake email", then Club World have STILL breached the standards for being an accredited casino, just a different standard.

There had been a number of complaints about "Club World spam" in the past, but now we have them ON RECORD admitting that this particular email WAS indeed SPAM. This shows that whatever action they promised to take at the time was INEFFECTIVE, and there may be MANY players responding to similar fake emails.

Club World are implying that the OP should have known this was a fake offer, so perhaps the rep can elighten us as to exactly HOW the average player is supposed to tell the difference between this email, and the genuine article, and using techniques and language that the AVERAGE USER can understand and implement, rather than the COMPUTER EXPERT.

Even if it was a fake, THE DAMN CODE WORKED!!! How come? How does a faker "know" the correct code?

Usually what happens in cases of fake offers is that the player creates the account, but finds that the code does NOT work, and support say there was "never any such code". This is logical, the rogue affiliate has made up a fake code, and has gained a "conversion" from the spam because the recipient opened an account. He may get paid for this even if the player never deposits.

Club World need to take this issue SERIOUSLY, this is not simply spam, IT IS FRAUD! This is not simply a "spammy affiliate", but a FRAUDULENT one who has deliberately "gaffed" the email so as to appear genuine. He also seems to have some "inside help" from within Club World, since he has been able to provide a VALID, yet fake, new player code.

I can't see how the OP stood a chance in the face of this level of email fraud.

This affiliate better not just get "spoken to", or asked to see "the error of his ways". He needs to be KICKED OUT, and a strong message sent to others that deliberate "gaffing" of emails so as to appear to come directly from "Lauren" at an official INTERNAL Club World address will NOT BE TOLERATED.

Until then, players CANNOT TRUST ANYTHING "LAUREN" TELLS US - it could be an imposter, and WE will be made to pay, NOT the casino.

My ISP puts all the "Lauren" mailers into SPAM anyway, otherwise I might have seen this too.

    Hi Guys,

This was a genuine email from us containing a valid coupon code.

The problem here is that it was the seventh free chip darkpixie had claimed on non depositing accounts with Aladdins Gold so I am afraid we couldnt pay the win.

    Kind Regards
    Tom

Then 1st why send her the email? and 2nd why was she able to claim it?

Casinos really should stop mailing out coupons to players and allowing them to claim it, if they are basically not eligible!. Also by non depositing ACCOUNTS your saying the op has more than 1?

BTW, this is not a shot at you Clubworld Just always wondered why these things are not stopped at the back end? Posts like this would not exist!

    Cheers

    Now thats a shock....

My understanding of the offer was that it was for new accounts only.

    It states (in part):

Just redeem the following coupon code once you have created your account and the chips will be in your balance instantly:
for seven days after opening your account at Aladdins Gold. Just download the software, register an account and choose the bonuses you want in the lobby.

Visit Aladdins Gold now and download the free software
Darkpixie you have been around long enough to know exactly what that email is all about. I have received a few of these and I deleted them when I realised it was for new accounts at Aladdins Gold (I already had an account there). IMO you have a hide coming here and slinging cr*p at an accredited casino when you have already claimed seven free chips there. Actually, I would be interested to know how you were able to claim 7 free chips in the first place.....you obviously kept redeeming these chips that you were not entitled to (and you knew it) and got sprung when it came to cashout time. If, in fact, you opened seven different accounts then you are a fraudster and should be banned.

You got caught with your hand in the cookie jar - take it on the chin and move on.
