    WTF Belle Rock!

How do you offer something to someone, conditionally, and then once the offer has been accepted and the person meets the conditions you set forth, renege the offer? Thats what Belle Rock Ents did when I opened my Jackpot City software and saw the top screenshot. So I deposited the $100 and waited. And waited. Then emailed with screenshots. When, after having my email ignored, I telephone support 6 hours after depositing, (see lower screenshot) and spoke to so-n-so who seemed to take great pleasure when he informed that I had already fulfilled the promotion at River Belle casino yesterday!

"Well," I said, "now that you mention it, your right! So why the **** are you ******* offering me the same deal over at Jackpot City if it's been unavailable now for twenty four hours?"

A lot of horse shit followed as his answer.

How would you like to got to a restaurant, be asked if you'd like to see a menu and then, after placing your order, be told, "Oh well, you ordered that yesterday when you ate here you see, so you can't have it again today. Only once a weekend you know." Now, add to that that you paid for the meal before being told you can't have it again?? What would you call that? Thieving? I think so! FU Belle Rock!

We've been through this exact same thing with Belle Rock sending email offers that were no longer valid cuz the addressee had already claimed the bonus after getting the same email the day before. It stopped for a while. I think, but haven't checked yet, that this deal where a promo is still showing as active on 1 site after having been claimed, making it void, at another. I am 10 kinds of effing mad right now!

After I deposited and and claimed the bonus at River Belle yesterday, that same offer had no business displaying again at Jackpot City. And because it did display, its a valid offer and I accepted it and as far as I'm concerned River Belle can either honor it or I will close my accounts. Period.

Just a quick tip: use voice recorder when speaking with CS and always aware them "our conversation will be recorded" and then ask all questions.

I used this method only once with casino.com when they sent me limited promotion via email (200% bonus, $200 max, 12xB, Roulette allowed, for 25% of the bet will count towards WR, deposit had to be made within next 12 hours).

I phoned them via Skype to confirm that I'm eligible for promotion, adnd recorded CS guy's vioce saying "dear sir, you're OK for this bonus, so deposit right now!". And after I deposited $100 - they claimed I'm not eligible because I'm living in Belarus.

Well, I contacted their manager and sent him *.mp3 file with recorded conversation. I also said that I will post that on some message boards. After 2 hours I've got an email with apologies. In this email was also stated that my bonus was credited to my account. I completed WR on European Roulette and withdrew $420.

I got the screenshot of the promotion, my $100 balance after depositing and the confirmation screenshot thanking me for claiming the bonus - I don't care what support said on the phone - they could a told me I'm not getting the bonus because the cow jumped over the moon as far as I'm concerned. The bonus was offered, I deposited and claimed.

I emailed my VIP rep and support and told them that they have a lot of nerve assuming that, from day to day, I'm expected to remember which sites they operate or even that I should remember claiming a bonus at one of their sites 5 minutes ago let alone yesterday. When I open a casino and I'm offered a 100% match? Fuggitaboutit! I told them that they either credit the $100 or they can just close all of my Belle Rock Ents accounts. I've had it with their BS.

Playing the Devils Advocate (where are you spear)...

I see a tick box in your screen cap, on I assume claim form.

Did the Rules you agreed to have anything in them stating the offer could only be redeemed at one River Belle Casino?

If not IMHO you should receive your match bonus. No if's no buts.

    Cheers

I agree, fortune lounge are much better, just be ready to be spammed consistantly. As for riverbell i gave up, they have locked and reopened my account more times than i can remember. Idiots cant make up their mind so they are also blacklisted. Seems a few of these casinos are really falling apart at the moment.

I am certain that it does, not even going to wait until next Thursday to check, I'll just give you that. Nonetheless, my position is (a) since I had claimed the promotion just the day before (and totally forgotten that I had but even if I had remembered), since the claim and bonus credit were both handled via the software, why the hell wasn't the offer removed from the sister site, via the software? (b) At the very least, when I claimed the second time why wasn't a "sorry, you have already claimed this promotion" error message displayed? (c) Even after having already made the qualifying deposit, a requirement long discarded by many MG groups in favor of bonus instruments which require the player to "opt in" before depositing whereby just the act of hovering the cursor over the tick box triggers a pop-up stating that "you have already opted in", at least I wouldn't have been sitting around with my thumb up my tuches waiting for a bonus that isn't coming

    (d) That Belle Rock Ents have implemented none of the above in favor of a system that repeatedly (yes, this is not my first rodeo, second time I made the exact, same mistake) lures players into depositing with the expectation of a bonus which is no longer available, IMHO (the only one that counts,, IMHO, since it's my money, and my casino accounts to close or not to close and nobody else's f'kn business - this thread intended as a heads up to players not an opportunity for players to side with the house - @ AussieDave: not that your side of the debate, for debating purposes, isn't welcome, cuz it is. I'm just sayin'.) is a deliberate trap thinly veiled by terms stated on a separate web page and aided by the group's unreasonable requirement that the player be cognizant, from day to day, of which sites are or are not operated by Belle Rock Ents.

    A story:

A little boy, Tommy Jenkins, walks into Mel's Candy Store. A huge decanter of tantalizing candies beckons with a sign which reads, "Free! Take ONE!" Little Tommy happily takes one he thinks might be raspberry truffle, his favorite of favorites, gives it a sniff, confirming he had chosen correctly, and, beaming, walks back out of the shop. He hastily unwraps the candy and, discarding the wrapper, pops the slice of heaven into his mouth. Before he gets to the end of the block a seizure attacks him, swelling his larynx, suffocating him. Frantically, he gasps for air, tries to cry out when no cry is possible, and crumbles to the sidewalk, dead as a doornail. On the sidewalk behind his lifeless, little body lays a candy wrapper. Had little Tommy bothered to examine the wrapper at all before greedily discarding it in haste to consume his prize, he would have seen the following: "TERMS: This candy is free on a one per customer, one per week basis. This includes the Free! Take ONE! promotion currently running at Mel's Candy Shop, Joe's Candy Shop, Tom's Candy Shop and every/any other property now or soon to be included in the Joe Blow's Candy Shops, Inc. Group. The consumption of more than one Free! Take ONE! candy within a one week period will result in a chemical reaction which will render the combination of candies fatally toxic and instant death is assured." Little Tommy had helped himself to a "Free! Take ONE!" candy treat just the day before, at Tom's Candy Shop in the next town a few miles away, while visiting his auntie Jane with his mother. He hadn't bothered to look closely at that wrapper, either.

Since starting the "Free! Take ONE!" candy offer 4 months ago, 321 people in the tri-county area have died from poisoning as a result of consuming more than one "Free! Take ONE!" candy from Joe Blow's Candy Shops, Inc. within a one week period. No charges have been filed nor are any pending.

Is Joe Blow's Candy Shops, Inc. guilty of murder? Probably not.

Going to agree with this. I understand bernynhel's point but I don't believe it is possible for the software to actually check that you have not claimed the bonus elsewhere at another group casino.

Yes, there should be a better way and they should have a central account system - but they don't. When you checked the box - you agreed. Whether or not you read the terms and conditions or not is irrelevant.

Believe it. Other MG groups have switched to where you opt in before depositing, which eliminates the "gotcha" effect of having deposited in expectation of a bonus already realized. Casino Share even lets you know if you are already opted in by the mere act of hovering your cursor over the tick box of a promotion you are already enrolled in and this occurs at all sites no matter which one you opted in at. Furthermore, you can continue to deposit in fulfillment of the bonus offer at all sites in any deposit increment satisfying the minimum deposit requirement until the full offer is realized and the bonuses are credited instantly upon depositing.

Your dissenting opinion doesn't address the issue of the player having to remember, day to day, which casinos are operated by which casino group and, in my case, there is little help from the names Jackpot City and River Belle. I often open Jackpot City casino software to contact Live Chat Support to ask a question about an experience at All Jackpots Casino and vise versa, though the former is a Belle Rock property and the latter owned by the Jackpot Factory group.

One other very important issue. After depositing and claiming the bonus at River Belle, the page which was displayed on the home page of the casino immediately after logging in which advertised the match promo (identical to the top screenshot in post #1), the same page used as the instrument for claiming the promotion after depositing, ceased to display after I claimed the bonus and the following page (identical to the lower screenshot in post #1), "Thank-you for entering" was exhibited. Successive openings and closings of the casino software repeatedly failed to cause those pages to re-deploy, even though it was still well within the promotional window.

At Jackpot City, the exact sequence of events transpired. After depositing and claiming via the bonus offer page (actual upper screenshot, post #1) displayed on the Jackpot City home page, and after the following "Thank-you for entering" confirmation page (actual lower screenshot, post #1), the bonus pages went away exactly as they had the day before when the bonus offer was still valid. This happened a full twenty four hours after the promo was originally claimed and still dead center within the promotional window of Thursday - Sunday, casino time.

That the promotional page was displayed and behaved identically in reaction to the promo being claimed, first when the promotion was valid as well as the next day after it had already been exhausted, constitutes false and misleading advertising by Belle Rock Ents since they have demonstrated that the bonus offer pages can be instructed to behave in any fashion desired in reaction to the player's selections. That Belle Rock was negligent in their due diligence of preventing me from duplicate depositing in anticipation of and claiming an expired promotion is further substantiated by newer, improved instruments available and in use by other MG groups which, by design, make double depositing and bonus claiming, an impossibility, instruments which Belle Rock have chosen not to employ.

Additionally, my email to my account retention rep and to support demanding they make good on the offer they had mis-represented as being valid and in effect and which I accepted by selection as well as the satisfaction of the financial requirement or else close my Belle Rock Ents casino accounts has, of this posting, gone unanswered.

While they might be able to write something to do this as a convenience to their players (and something I hope they would do), this does not detract from the fact that you explicitly agreed to the T&C by checking the box.

Trust me, I am in favor of ANYTHING which will bring convenience to the player. I think what happened sucks too - but in the end, it is still nothing more than sour grapes.

Oh, and btw, it's not the casino software that does the checking - it is internal server scripts written by each casino group which are able to do such things - and I don't think that Belle Rock has implemented any such script.
