Belle Rock's Sneaky False Bonus Lures

Friday I log into Jackpot City and see a 100%, $50 max deposit match offer. I deposit the $50, claim the bonus, and play and later see the "your bonus claim at Belle Rock" subject in my email and, without reading the email, go to the site and the bonus is there, np.

Yesterday I log into River Belle Casino, see the same offer, deposit $50, claim the bonus, play and later see the bonus email from Belle Rock, go to the site but no bonus. Uh oh. I know what's coming, without even reading the email and I'm getting 10 kinds a mad!

Below is the email exchange. What do you think?

    Hello William,

Thank you for your email to Belle Rock Entertainment.

It is a pleasure to be of assistance to you.

Our promotions run across all your accounts but once claimed they cannot be claimed again on a different account.
I have noticed that you have claimed your full weekend bonus on your River Belle account
    (deleted by bernynhel). (See below)

11/7/2009 9:20 AM River Belle Loyalty Bonus Deposit Promotion Checked US Dollar 50.00 US

I hope I have answer your query.

Should you require any further assistance, feel free to contact us, as we are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for your convenience.

    Kind regards,

    Dear playersupport@bellerockentertainment.com:

If the bonus was fulfilled at my River Belle Account then it shouldn't have been offered to me, again, in my Jackpot City Account a full 24 hours later. Your policy of running promotions across all accounts is fine but that policy is your business, not mine. I shouldn't have to be aware of your across-all-accounts policies when I log into your casinos and the first thing I see is an invitation to participate in a match deposit promotion that, in reality, is not available to me at all. I certainly would not have deposited the $50 at Jackpot City had it not been for the offer. Moreover, I deposited and then claimed the bonus and was further deceived by a "thank-you for entering" on the ensuing confirmation page! Other Microgaming operators offer promotions without offering things they have no intention of giving so what am I supposed to think about this? I think that this bug was either left in (cuz you damn sure aren't hearing about it for the first time from me!) or was engineered to lure me to deposit expecting a bonus the casino had no intention of honoring. The offer at Jackpot City was, at best, disingenuous and, at worst, a dirty trick. Should you think I am alone in my opinions you may see what other online wagerers think at:

It's both a POLICY and BUG that has afflicted BelleRock for a LONG LONG time.

They have no incentive to correct it, because at least SOME players will be mislead into making an extra deposit thinking it is a "new" offer in a different account.

Do I believe that the staff of BelleRock are so incompetent that they cannot do some simple programming to ensure the status of a claimed bonus is correctly displayed regardless of the individual casino you log into?

Er yes This is, after all, BelleRock we are talking about

I would claim it even though I didn't say it if I weren't already the proud recipient of one Infraction received for what I actually did say, only, yesterday.

I had only Jackpot City installed on my PC since I got it in Feb and never tried to max out a Belle Rock promo at two BRE sites so when I saw the obviously "live" offer at Jackpot City why would I think it wasn't valid? It had been over 24 hours since I claimed and played the match deposit bonus at River Belle* and when the casino software opened, there it was, beckoning!

Of course they have the capability of shutting down an offer, site-wide, once it's fulfilled to the max just as any MG operator does. No excuse. As far as I'm concerned, they owe me the $50 bonus and not another dime from me til I get it.

*In my original post I made the mistake of saying I first claimed the offer at Jackpot City then was denied at River Belle when it was the other way round, River Belle first then Jackpot City.

So Here's How Belle Rock Is Spinning It:

So here's how they are spinning it:

    "Hello William

Thank you for your email to Belle Rock Entertainment.

It is a pleasure to be of assistance to you.

The weekend promotion is available on only one account and is advertised through the weekend promotion period in case you haven't claimed and taken advantage of the bonus.
" And remains fully active even 24 hours after the offer is void. What if I don't know the two sites are both Belle Rock Ent Sites? And why should I have to know?

"We are sorry for the inconvenience, but it is for your advantage as it is there to help remind you to take up the offer." 24 hours after I already took up the offer and then seeing this live dealio thinking its a separate offer and then they re-enforce what I want to hear with a comforting "thank-you for entering" screen right after claiming. On the dead offer. So its to my advantage to be ripped off?

"For convenience we have provided a link by which you can retrieve your account details. In the event that you forget your password or account number you can access the following link and retrieve your account details:" What has THIS got to do with anything? More convenience! To go with the above convenience. I'm being showered with LOVE. So why does it seem more like a Golden Shower that I didn't agree to? A distraction ploy!

Should you require any further assistance, feel free to contact us, as we are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for your convenience.

    Kind regards,

I let 'em know we can read between the lines!:

To whom it may concern at playersupport@bellerockentertainment.com

A reminder is one thing. If you merely wanted to remind me about my weekend promotion, then when I took a closer look at the promotional information in Jackpot City's "My Promotions" feature on the casino home page, more than 24 hours after fulfilling the promotion at River Belle Casino I would have been reminded that the promotion I was looking at was one and the same as the one I had already fulfilled to its maximum limit 24 hours earlier at River Belle Casino and should I want to deposit, additionally, there would be no additional matching funds credited to my account from BRE.

A fully live, interactive, promotions claims and confirmation feature which behaves exactly as it had on an active promotion even after that promotion has been participated in to it's maximum extent by the account holder, thereby being void but behaving as an active feature, including the "Thank you for entering" confirmation screen (nice touch!) is not a "reminder." It is a scam to bilk me and every other customer out of money by luring the unsuspecting into making deposits that Belle Rock Entertainment, Ltd would not have enjoyed, otherwise.

I was once caught the same way, I have a Riverbelle and a Jackpot Factory City account and received mails from both just like Berny, and was denied the bonus on the deposit in the second casino. Sorry that you didn't get the bonus Berny, I was kinda pissed off the first time it happened to me too. I don't remember, does it actually say on the promotional mail whether it's only available on ONE of your Belle Rock accounts?

    Other instances of promotion bungling:

At the beginning of this month I received a mail from Spin Palace telling me that if I deposit, I could get a 100% November match bonus. I deposited, applied for the bonus, then I got an email saying "No sorry you don't qualify for the bonus, your name isn't on the list." I just threw the response and the original mail offering me the bonus in the trash.

I received several mails from an MG group telling me about their wonderful deposit bonus for using Neteller. Hello? I'm in Canada, I can't use Neteller to gamble. How hard would it be to NOT send these to people who can't use them.

I got the Intercasino thing that said "Congrats on making your $4000 in wagering yesterday..." that was mass mailed to everyone and not just who it was supposed to go to. I got another one from Grand Mondial that said "Congrats on winning all those Dash for Cash tournaments (I've never played one) now you've qualified for the big one." I've gotten mails about promotions that are already over....I could go on, but you get the point - it's not just Belle Rock who does stuff like this.

What bollocks, you got the email, you MUST be on the list, support got it wrong, but won't properly investigate. You may not be a particularly valuable customer.

I too got a Grand Mondial email telling me I had qualified for the Grand Tournament, even though I have not played a SINGLE one of the feeders. This might actually be TRUE though, because I have often "qualified" for "grand finals" despite never playing the feeders. Why? REBUYS & CONTINUES, only the FIRST ROUND is what you "win" in the feeders, so they will dump all the surplus places to other players in the hope of maximising the field, and the amount taken in continues & rebuys.

The same thing happened with the Grand Slam. I did not play ONE SINGLE FEEDER, yet ended up with THREE seats, and they really WERE free

I STILL had to pay the €20 for continues & rebuys though, and I would NOT have been able to had I not been given these seats.

How hard would it be to send an email that says -

Congratulations you are eligible for a 100%, $50 max deposit match offer at one of the following casinos!
Gaming Club Casino - Jackpot City - Lucky Nugget - Riverbelle Casino.
Only one bonus per player allowed.

Look on the bright side. If all the bonus offers and rules were clear cut and obvious we'd lose half the threads in this forum.

Then see how fast they will pull "Bonus Abuse" out of their butts and throw it around like we're the idiots! Maybe the people who makes these things up reside in the pokey for fraud, sounds a bit larcenous to me.
