Cassava / Supro Casino Spurious Bonus Abuse Claims / Theft

    Hi,

SuproCasino denied me winnings of £1k+ on the grounds of bonus abuse after I'd completed the WR on their £200 SUB and without any prior warning.

Their first response (after they'd blocked my accounts with them) was to cite bonus abuse without going into specifics. After a 3rd-party attempted to mediate for me they advised the 3rd party that I was on a blacklist and had been advised not to open any accounts with them.

In fact, they had not advised me of this and were not able to provide evidence to back up their claim. I should point out that I do not have any accounts I shouldn't have had and did not have any multiple accounts either. I completed the WR using the allowed games and in good faith.

Essentially, they were happy to take my deposit but, after winning, they then decided that I was abusing them (when, to me, it seems the other way round - if I'd lost would they have advised me I was unwelcome??)

I know Cassava are on the 'no can do' list and that a sizeable number of their skins are not e-COGRA affiliated so my next course of action is to contact the GRA but I'm sure this has happened to more people than just me.

If anyone else has been affected can they post their comments too as people should be made aware of the danger in promoting or signing up to these Cassava sites - I really believe it amounts to no more than theft to not pay after the event and without prior warning.

Contact GRA. They may give a luke warm response, but what if their inbox was INUNDATED with complaints from upset players, THIS would make them (the GRA) start to think there really IS an issue, and GRA will NOT want it blowing up in their faces with it emerging that GRA knew there were issues, but "sat on" them.

The fact that Cassava doesn't deal with 3rd parties ALREADY means that there will be a disproportionate number of complaints ending up with the GRA, since where 3rd party mediation IS available, many complaints get resolved at this stage, with GRA never seeing them.

You could ALSO complain to any UK entity that carried advertising for this casino, and indeed to the Advertising Standards Authority that the advertisement was misleading, since you won, obeyed all the terms, but didn't get paid as promised. Most casino adverts promote "winning", so naturally this is an expectation the ads are DESIGNED to give to the prospective player.
