    Carribean Gold Casino

I deposited $99.00 at this casino and did not request a bonus because I like to play craps. During my craps session I was notified I received a bonus. I then stopped playing and went to 'live help' and had the following conversation:

Please wait for a site operator to respond.

You are now chatting with 'Judy'

Judy: Welcome to Casino Support. How can I assist you today?

you: Hi Judy....before I play with any part of the bonus you just gave me...please remove that bonus from my account

you: Your bonus will make my $99.00 deposit practically worthless if I should win and then attempt to withdraw my winnings....

you: I have played on-line casinos for many years and have learned that as a craps player bonus money does me absolutely no good

Judy: Please hold on a moment, I will check your account.

    you: Thank you

Judy: Richard we are sorry to inform you that bonuses can be removed before playing with the funds.

you: Then that should work fine for me...I have NOT used any part of the bonus you just sent me

    you: Please REMOVE the bonus

you: you are making my deposit immediately worthless

    you: or REFUB

you: Or refund my deposit please

Judy: Your balance shows that you do have $40.40 in bonus at the bonus but you did receive $99 in bonus of the deposit made of $99

you: I deposited 99 dollars about 10 mins ago

    Judy: Yes you did

you: I do not want the bonus...did not ask for the bonus and have NOT used any part of the bonus

you: As soon as you gave me the bonus I refrained from playing any longer

Judy: Then you should read the bonus terms and conditions before making any deposit into your account.

you: at that very moment I ceased to play

you: Please do not steal my money from me....Please????

Judy: Richard sorry but there is nothing we can do at the moment by removing the bonus

    you: Why?

you: You have just literally STOLEN my money

you: You should not be giving out bonuses unless they are directly requested.

you: Many of us cannot use bonus money because we play table games

you: You don't want us to play table games...??? then you should not offer the table games

    you: Hello?????

Judy: Look Richard, the bonus can be always removed by using the funds or not but.... The rollover requirement activates as soon as one penny of the bonus is used.

you: I did not use even 1 penny of the bonus

Judy: Richard one again the bonus credited was $99 and now it is $40.40

you: Negative.....I stopped playing as soon as you notified me I had received a bonus

you: Why would you give a bonus to a person playing craps....???? you know it is worthless to me

Judy: But you should know that after every deposit would come a bonus

    you: no not true....

you: Most casinos a player must click on the bonus prior to receiving the bonus

Judy: Richard we are sorry but there is nothing we can do about it

you: So how do I get my deposit back?

Judy: We are talking about this casino

you: You should not have the right to steal from me

you: My money is now worthless

Judy: You should read terms and conditions before

you: I played at your casino in good faith

    you: YOU SUCK

some casino's give the bonus up front some you have to type in a code (((Those are best)) others wait like anywhere between 15 minutes up to 3 hours before you are given the bonus an slip it in while you are playing an it happens when ya get a win an ya dont notice till cashout time
an they go wait you didnt meet wagering requirments

you played $58.60 of the bonus before you noticed an looks like you was having a losing session anyways then you contacted support

I agree with the casino you should have read the T&C

    Good Luck

    Cindy

PS they didnt steal your money you Lost it

Instead of getting emotional about it (you suck), you should have asked to speak with a supervisor, or come here and complain to the casino rep:

Hopefully someone can square this away for you.

This is strange, because this looks like you have indeed already played with the bonus money. If this is the case they are correct, they can't remove the bonus. Richtree7, are you sure you stopped playing immediately after the bonus was credited?

I don't know this casino software, do someone know if the bets and transactions are somewhere logged? If so you could check it yourself and refer to these logs if you ask the support to remove the bonus.

If they still don't want to remove the bonus the last option would be to meet the WR and then make a withdrawal. Your winnings will be probably voided because you have played Craps, but at least you have the chance to get you deposit or part of it back.

    Not True....

I did not play with 'any' of the bonus money. When the money was put into my account I immediately stopped playing.
It only 'appears' that I used the bonus money because as soon as they award the bonus it probably automatically subtracts the money I have played from my deposit and puts that money into the bonus account. When I was playing, which was for about 3 or 4 minutes, I was using 'only' my deposit money.....not a cent of there money. And I was and am still ahead on that craps session. The money is still on the craps table and not in my account because the status of that particular craps session ceased instantly when I received notice of their bonus.
Yes Bryan I did get emotional. Just the idea that they can do practically anything they want just by declaring 'bonus abuse' is downright maddening. In my opinion it is the casino opting for 'player abuse'.
I did not use any of their bonus money before I stopped playing.

It sounded to me as though their decision was final....that is when I blew my cool....and so be it. A deposit of $99.00 down the tubes.

Thanks to all of the members here who have responded. Even if you think I am in the wrong.

Emotional maybe, but certainly not wrong.

    How about this one then.

"Why can't you verify a player before he deposits, and not when they cash out?"

Answer from casinos "We cannot, gamblers by nature want instant gratification, they want to deposit and play straight away, and not be forced to hang around waiting for verification"

Now, you fit this to a tee, but NOW the casino says you should have waited, and resisted the urge for this "instant gratification".

What is also interesting is that your bonus balance has halved, so this would seem to indicate that Craps IS contributing to WR.

IF they are going to cry "bonus abuse" simply because Craps was played, they deserve the flak they get from this emotional flare-up. WHY did CS not seek to assure you that while they could not remove the bonus, they would NOT cry "bonus abuse" simply because you had just been playing Craps.

    Steps to take now:-

    1) STOP! all further play.

    2) Contact rep/supervisor

    3) If no joy, take it further.

If they DO end up confiscating anything over this, let us know, and make more fuss than ever.

It is bad practice to have software that tries to slip in a bonus whilst a player is logged in & playing, since it is not obvious to the player they have even received a bonus, you may never have noticed if it were smaller.
