It only 'appears' that I used the bonus money because as soon as they award the bonus it probably automatically subtracts the money I have played from my deposit and puts that money into the bonus account. When I was playing, which was for about 3 or 4 minutes, I was using 'only' my deposit money.....not a cent of there money. And I was and am still ahead on that craps session. The money is still on the craps table and not in my account because the status of that particular craps session ceased instantly when I received notice of their bonus.
Yes Bryan I did get emotional. Just the idea that they can do practically anything they want just by declaring 'bonus abuse' is downright maddening. In my opinion it is the casino opting for 'player abuse'.
I did not use any of their bonus money before I stopped playing.
It sounded to me as though their decision was final....that is when I blew my cool....and so be it. A deposit of $99.00 down the tubes.
Thanks to all of the members here who have responded. Even if you think I am in the wrong.
Emotional maybe, but certainly not wrong.
How about this one then.
"Why can't you verify a player before he deposits, and not when they cash out?"
Answer from casinos "We cannot, gamblers by nature want instant gratification, they want to deposit and play straight away, and not be forced to hang around waiting for verification"
Now, you fit this to a tee, but NOW the casino says you should have waited, and resisted the urge for this "instant gratification".
What is also interesting is that your bonus balance has halved, so this would seem to indicate that Craps IS contributing to WR.
IF they are going to cry "bonus abuse" simply because Craps was played, they deserve the flak they get from this emotional flare-up. WHY did CS not seek to assure you that while they could not remove the bonus, they would NOT cry "bonus abuse" simply because you had just been playing Craps.
Steps to take now:-
1) STOP! all further play.
2) Contact rep/supervisor
3) If no joy, take it further.
If they DO end up confiscating anything over this, let us know, and make more fuss than ever.
It is bad practice to have software that tries to slip in a bonus whilst a player is logged in & playing, since it is not obvious to the player they have even received a bonus, you may never have noticed if it were smaller.
