eCOGRA have not approved the prive affiliate scheme:

Just in:
We'll have to wait to see how the new wording defines the "true intention". IE: let's not speculate until we know for sureWe’ve spoken to the Grand Prive people, and they assure us that the intention of this clause is not what is perceived in the posts on the message board. It is just very badly worded, and we are currently discussing changing the wording of the offending clause to reflect the true intention. And can we also remember the principle focus of this thread is about Grand Privé - I just want to avoid it getting sidetracked onto people's eCOGRA sentiments which we have covered on numerous occassions and about which we're all more than aware that opinion is divided.

I am pleasantly surprised that those conditions about inactive accounts are gone, although the date of last change is still shown as 25/11/08. I am curious as to what the "true intention" of those conditions was, as they have not been replaced by anything.

The upshot of discussions between eCOGRA and Grand Privé is that Grand Prive will be removing this clause from their T&C's in it's entirety forthwith.
even though they will be removing those t&cs, because of the affiliate scam by grand prive im guessing its still not wise to play there ?
I gave up gambling,
Now all i ever do is make mind bets,
You never bet any real money you only bet in your mind.
The results are fairly good, ive only lost my mind 5 times so far this month
Only two programs are currently approved. I would not go by that list to be honest. As it all depends on whether the Affiliate Program wants to apply to be listed on the eCogra Approved Affiliate Program page.eCOGRA have not approved the prive affiliate scheme:

The fact that only Fortune and Roxy are listed just indicates to me that they indeed did want to meet the criteria set by eCogra. Which is not a bad thing to be honest.
However for a more complete reference on all Affiliate Programs and their T & C's - it is wise to check the Affiliate Guard Dog site. This really does sort the good from the bad.
You will notice that Villa Fortuna are rogued there as they are here on CasinoMeister and many other casino portals including my own.
This should not have even been there in the first place TO remove
eCogra seem to be dropping the ball more and more often. Now even mainstream players cannot understand what good eCogra is, after all, a casino that has supposedly passed certification should be run by people who would not have even CONSIDERED such a term in the first place.
To me, the intention was clear. IF you had a big win, more than 10,000 credits, not only did they make you wait for it with a max withdrawal limit that would make an RTG casino blush with shame, but they DEMANDED that you continue to play with the remaining balance you were waiting to receive. I expect the "badly written" bit was about the need to deposit a further 80 credits whilst having THOUSANDS sitting on account in order to receive each monthly installment. Not only were players unimpressed, but this term clearly violated "responsible gambling" guidelines that would have advised the player to NOT continue to gamble for the next big hit, but to take the money in it's entirety and take a "cooling off" break before playing again with the winnings.
I got the press release on the new seal for Interwetten, but it is only the sportsbook that has been granted the seal, and NOT the casino, which was the subject of much controversy last year.
Now that Grand Prive have removed the "mafia term", we still need to know what they will eventually replace it with after ensuring it is "correctly worded"
If it involves ANY requirement to continue to play with a large win sitting in the account, eCogra should STILL veto it because this simply invites IRRESPOSIBLE gambling through temptation and frustration as the player is forced to log on each "activity period" and wager x credits.
Given that Grand Prive portrays itself as a destination for the "high roller", I find the 10K per month limit laughable.
