The fear is a stacked shoe, going either towards the player <cooler>, which is highly unlikely, or one that is slanted in the house's favored. Marking of the cards, setting up the shoes purposely, has happened at casinos in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States <shown on A and E>, in order for a player to cheat the casino, with the aid of a casino dealer.
Sorry, but that's a bad reference.

Out and out cheating by offline casinos (At least in Vegas) hasn't been around in years.

You've got to realize that the stuff A&E shows on-air is about stuff that's happened years ago. A great example of this is their "Breaking Vegas" series.
Operators: If you don't know what Transparency means, then here you go.....now how about practicing it?

Transparency, as used in the humanities and in a social context more generally, implies openness, communication, and accountability. It is a metaphorical extension of the meaning a "transparent" object is one that can be seen through. ...

Did anyone get this email? I certainly didn't, nor did any of the folks on the other boards I read.

I saw this thread and just wanted to clarify for all our players in Canada. Players from outside of Canada are still able to access and play these games as before.

We informed all our Canadian players by e-mail in the last week of September ‘Due to a recent regulatory ruling, we regret to inform you that Canadian players will not be able to play Let it Ride or Three Card Poker in our ‘Play for Real’ Casino from 1st October 2008.’

The change was actually implemented on October 2 and regrettably also includes Casino War due to the same reason.

Intercasino operates under licenses issued by the Lotteries & Gaming Authority of Malta and we are also regulated by this Authority. As such we have a legal responsibility to comply with all national or international rulings.

I personally feel very sad that we have had to block access to these three games to our Canadian players but of course they still have full access to all our other 200+ games and I hope that they will find another game to suit their taste.
Thank you Mr Hartley for your reply on this subject, but I did not receive any such email. I even went back and reread them, and I get all my junk mail delivered as well.

Could you please provide more information on this ruling by the Ontario Lottery Corporation (sic), which is now the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation. Also, I do not understand how an Ontario regulatory ruling can apply to all Canadian players, or was this simply in the interest of simplicity?

Thank you for your help in this regard.

    no email for me

Just reading the rest of this thread and can say that I never recieved the email stating the changes. I also did try to email Ryan but must have had the wrong address as I recieved no reply from there too.

Ryan, if you read this I wanted to email you to see if you might offer a freebie (by invitation only) blackjack tournament for the regular depositors at Intercasino. Would be a nice Christmas pressie for those of us that play frequently there.

    Online casinos, randomizing and cheating.

Winbig.Cheating still happens in Las Vegas casinos by both players and by the casino too.

There are machines in Las Vegas, that have locked out the jackpots from people in Video Poker, Slots, and the microchip is starting to affect Roulette too.

The programs in the microchip can be used to lock out jackpots and the same technology can be used by online casinos.

If human nature can cause people to lie, cheat and steal from one another, then why wouldn't this happen in a casino, in which millions of dollars are flowing through every day?

Atronic, a gambling manufacturer in the United States, has a single zero roulette machine that does cheat the player. The program picks up on your play, and then sends results in which you will lose.

The average player won't catch this happening to them, because they are lost off in la la land, and are too trusting of people.I hope that these people don't leave their doors unlocked in bad neighborhoods too.

Casinos have shaved odds off of their games, they have cheated players out of money <see rogue casino list>, and next will be cheating programs.

The best casinos believe in integrity. The worst ones don't.

Look how quickly Mr. Ryan Hartley has replied to my message on here.

In his defense, I believe that there is a Ryan Hartley that does play poker for high stakes, but from a business point of view, there were follow up questions, he didn't bother to answer.

Winbig, it shows you how people can be.

Intercasino and www.red32.com have caught my eye, and I want to know as much about these businesses before I invest my money into them for gambling purposes, and any good gambler would do the same thing.

Deception still happens in Las Vegas casinos, and I have had conversations will good gamblers, who go there, personal friends, who have warned me of how bad casinos can be, and human error situations.

The casinos make money off of the losers, not off of professional gambler with good gambling skills.

The casino isn't like playing professional golf or other sports.

I hope by years end that an Intercasino rep will talk to me about their business.

We'll see Winbig.Just be careful with anything controlled by a computer program in Las Vegas, because not only are the casinos watching you, but if you win big, so will the FBI too.

    Best wishes and good luck.

Scooter 7.Online casinos offer shoe based games that aren't exactly shoe based in a real brick and mortar casino.

How many online casinos actually offer a real shoe game online? That means no shuffling after every hand, a real shoe game, protected so no one would cheat the casino, and the players would get a real at home experience, as if they were playing in a real casino physically.

    That I wouldn't mind knowing.

Changing the names of the games, fits into this realm of manipulation of the situations. The 3 card poker game gets called something else, and add some bonus features.

War can get called by a French or Italian name.

If the shoe games online, were exactly like the shoe games at our physical casinos, it would affects millions of people, who would gamble online, knowing that the game they are playing will be fair <Spanish 21, Blackjack, Baccarat and Blackjack Switch and Casino War>.

It's about fairness on both sides.

But you know how business can be Scooter, business isn't always fair.

    Good luck in your gambling.
